Tomorrow is the last day to register for Parent & Child Dedications!

As a church, we want to partner with parents as they teach their children in the ways of Jesus. To participate in our next Parent and Child Dedication on November 17th, register by tomorrow by visiting our website!

God is at work in El Salvador ❤️🏠️

Our first Shelter team just got back from serving in El Salvador, and they have so many stories to tell!

We saw God fulfill promises and prayers that these families had prayed for years.
We saw God heal.
We saw God work beyond language barriers.
We experienced God building connections and relationships between the families of El Salvador and our Canadian team members.
We saw how God provided hope that will last for generations to come.

Thank you for the ways that you contributed to this first trip. Because of your generosity and prayers, 20 families have received brand new homes. Because of your generosity, 20 families no longer have to worry about the rain or the elements and have a new security and hope.

AND, let’s continue to pray for our SECOND team that’s leaving shortly to build 15 more! 🙏🙌

For how God has been moving among us and the ways He blesses us daily. For his never-ending provision and faithfulness for us. For Jesus' love that is abundant.

And we're thankful for our church community. For the ways that you seek to have an encounter with Jesus. For the homes that have been opened to welcome others into doing life together. For the ways that you invest your time and resources into serving our church community.

We get to be a Jubilee community. And our YA’s are excited about that. 🫶

Last weekend our Young Adults had their retreat at Eagle Bay Bible Camp! We played hard, we had the best convos, and we learned from our speaker, Cody Matchett, about Jesus’ desire for us to live in community. We get to bring jubilee - freedom, forgiveness, healing, the power of God - to our world.

“The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He had anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted. To proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind. To set at liberty those who are oppressed. To proclaim the year of the Lord.” (Luke 4:18-19)

We love and seek forgiveness, because Jesus first loved and forgave us. We pray that all of our First Nations neighbours may sense the love and peace of Jesus today. We ask that God will continue to lead us as we learn how to love our brothers and sisters well.

Today on Truth and Reconciliation Day, we recognize and honour the tragic legacy of residential schools, lost children, broken families, and survivors of these institutions.
