Where it all started…

Formerly known as Kingston Monuments, Peter and his brother George Rigos embarked on their journey in the monument industry. However, when George retired in 2000 and Peter's son Elias took over, Kingston Monuments expanded its services to include countertops. Initially, the countertops were crafted at a small local shop in Brockville, Ontario. As the demand grew, a dedicated facility on Sydenham Road was constructed in 2005, serving as a hub for sales, fabrication, and installation.
In 2019, Elias made a strategic decision to separate the countertop business from the monument sector and concentrate solely on countertops.
Under the new name of Iconic Stone, our re-established location offers ample space to cater to all aspects of our operations. We specialize in providing natural and engineered stone solutions to fulfill the needs of both residential and commercial clients.
Throughout our 23 years in business, our tight-knit and knowledgeable team has consistently prioritized the requirements of Kingston and its surrounding areas. We have cultivated enduring relationships with various stakeholders, including direct clients, cabinet companies, homebuilders, interior designers, architects, and renovators.
The Rigos family firmly upholds the values of integrity, excellence, and transparency, which have been the pillars of our success.

Iconic Stone (formerly Kingston Monuments) has been in business for 23 years serving Kingston and the greater community. Fabricating and installing Granite, Quartz and Marble. We are seeking to hire a motivated and reliable individual for full-time, permanent employment.

Job Description
- Fabricating/polishing countertop edges, sides, corner radius, angles and sink cut-outs.
- Handles large piece of granite, quartz, marble.
- Ability to read drawings and templates to complete work required.
- Operate blade or saws to cut slabs of stone to specified dimensions
- Record manufacturing information such as quantity, size and type of goods produced
- Operate machines to grind and polish surfaces of slabs or other stone products to specific shape or design and to produce a smooth finish
- Perform ongoing machine adjustments
- Load and unload machines
- Inform the supervisor/production manager when new tools/equipment is needed.
- Other duties as required
