💙 Heyyyy. Just wanted to be up front with you all and share that I have been struggling a LOT lately with my mental health, while trying to help my kids who are also struggling and things have been pretty tough. It's been a challenging month but we are almost through it and the sun is shining today. Which I am glad for.

Between my own plants, interactions with all of you, sharing plants and plant love, helping people gain yearned for plants or feel happy in general, these things all lift me up and make me feel so much joy. It is my happy place/self care to be among plants and plant ppl. I often find i feel pulled in many directions and very short on time. It can be so hard to push thru the obstacles in front of me: family, life, personal, mental health, to be able to spend as much time as I want and really need to with my plants, this business, and my customers, the feelings that I get to experience when I'm doing well with either.
In addition to regular challenges, I struggle to prioritize myself in a busy family with endless responsibilities, my adhd tendency to shut down and go into survival mode when things are becoming too much, often results in me getting behind on messages and letting ppl down and I feel absolutely terrible and crushed with guilt. I'm sorry for when you have been affected by this.

I recognize I'm not the only one who struggles with depression, anxiety, adhd, or similar challenges.
I wanted to share some of what I've been going thru, and maybe help you understand me a little more. Explain my absences when I love being present on this page. Maybe someone feels seen or understood somewhat by these types of admissions if they face similar obstacles.

I hesitate on writing this post or what exactly to say as I tend to feel like I make more excuses than improvements.
However life is extremely busy and stressful and constantly crises are popping up. With 3 young kids and other factors considered this is unlikely to change anytime soon.

I'm far from perfect, however I am always working towards improving, growing and doing better to the best of my ability. I am so appreciative that after all this time, and probably more than a few let downs, I still have this incredible circuit of support from this community and so many wonderful customers-friends who exercise endless patience, understanding and kindness towards me. Thank you for hanging in and staying with me. Giving me chances. Understanding my struggles and forgiving my shortcomings. I could not appreciate it more, or feel more grateful. Thank you. 💚💚

Hello my planty people!! I have been squeezing in some garden time (plant therapy) and wanted to share how it's going! What do you think? I am a little hosta obsessed so I've added some new varieties and love watching them grow. Some flowers too, inc a cpl hibiscus which are a personal fave. And my pretty peony out back is blooming! So lovely.

A tidbit: 🥰 Twelve years ago today I married the absolute love of my life, under a lovely little gazebo by the ocean in Mexico with some really amazing people looking on. It was a really special day and I am flooded with incredible emotions and memories, from our wedding day and so so many special times over our years together.
