Harvesting this gorgeous bunch of Madame Butterfly Bronze snapdragons this morning almost made up for discovering that some beastie (Iโm looking at you earwigs) has chomped the first dahlia of the season. Almost. ๐คฌ๐

Daffodil Watch 2023
The first daffodil opened late yesterday! We're always a tad behind out here on 15 away from the heat island effect
I suspect that it'll be at least another 1.5- 2 wks before I have enough for bunches
The highs forecast for the next 3 days will speed things along, but then we're back to more seasonal temps
I relish these first glorious warm days as much as anyone but as a gardener it makes me nervous!
