I’ve been testing my cut settings with Acrylic and still need a little more tweaking yet. I took this testing opportunity to make a beautiful floral sign for Lillian’s room 🌸🌼

#1 - My Glowforge has been causing me issues and it unfortunately impacted my ability to complete an order for someone. I felt and still feel awful about this 😢 A few days prior my Glowforge was acting fine and then when I went to complete an order, it stopped engraving and cutting entirely. The issue was the dreaded talked about red wire. I ordered a replacement kit and it was working until it wasn’t again 😩 I need to do some more investigating to figure out what is happening again.

#2 - I’ve joined a new laser club which I’m so so excited about! I’ve been drooling over these lasers for a while now. I’m learning lots as it operates very differently from my Glowforge and uses different software. I’ve still got a long way to go but excited about continuing my learning and growth!

#3 - My social media presence is almost nonexistent. I’ve still been working on things quietly in the background and haven’t been able to take on much because of laser issues, learning a new laser, and limited time. BUT - I’m still here and will try to become a more regular presence once I become more comfortable with my new laser.

I’m very behind on making this post 🫣 However, I wanted to say a big thank you to everyone that supported me in June 2023 - May 2024, together we raised $384.50 to be put towards KGH’s NICU 🤍

The hard truth was that I didn’t beat my previous year’s donation but I had to slow down my orders going back to work and wanting to soak up time with my family. This year is also slower with welcoming our third daughter to family and balancing work and family.

All this to say thank you for your ongoing support and patience with me, I appreciate all of you!

There have been lots of adjustments that my family has been undergoing this week. My two daughters have started at a new daycare and I have started a new job. On top of all these changes I have several orders in that will likely last me until sometime in October/November. For all of these reasons I’ve decided to close custom orders at this time. It was not a decision I take lightly but I need to figure out what works best for me and my family.

All orders already in discussion will be completed but I do not have the capacity to take on anymore orders. There are several lovely small business owners in this community I’d happily refer you to if you have questions about where to go.

I would like to give a big thank you to everyone that put in an order with me from June 2022 - May 2023! Because of you, I was able to beat the previous year’s donation of $357.00.

From June 2022 - May 2023, we raised $599.62 for the NICU at KGH with 10% of sales but I had to round it up to $600.00.

Sorry for the delay in announcing this. I was really hoping to get a picture like the first year but with battling all the sickness and life just being busy, it won’t happen this year.
