Revved Up provides an adapted exercise program service that promotes physical activity for those with mobility impairments and developmental disabilities.
Our goal is to improve the quality of life and to encourage healthy living. We currently have two programs, Circuit and Mobility, that provide supportive environments for individuals to meet their physical and social goals. All participants are assessed during their first session with a CSEPcertified personal trainer. Following assessments, participants can attend 2 exercise sessions per week to w

It's 80's week in the Revved Up program this week! Get ready for music from the 80's all week long in the gym. Dress in your best 80's gear for your exercise sessions. Those who participate will be entered into a draw for some Revved Up merchandise!
Through participation in the The Inclusive Play Project., Revved Up was the lucky recipient of a draw for free tickets (accessible seating) to the upcoming Alan Doyle show in August in Toronto! Thanks to the The Inclusive Play Project for this opportunity. We polled our members to determine who were the true Alan Doyle fans :) and found many worthy contestants. 11 members entered our draw with the lucky winner notified by email today!

Come on by the Inclusive Fun Fair The Inclusive Play Project today and have some fun with the Revved Up crew! Try your skills at Ring Golf and win a prize! Today's event goes until 3 pm today at the Rideau Heights Community Centre.
Revved Up is super excited to be participating in the Inclusive Fun Fair this Saturday, June 8! As an accessible exercise program for adults experiencing disability in the Kingston and greater community, Revved Up is lending our support to this effort to raise awareness of the important of accessible play for all. Funds raised at the event will go towards the The Inclusive Play Project. Come on out and visit the Revved Up booth and play some "Ring Golf" with the Revved Up team!
Something shiny and new arrived in the Revved Up gym this week! We could not have achieved this goal of equipment purchase without the support of our generous participants, friends of Revved Up and community supports. Through fundraising efforts lead by the Let's Get Revved Up Club and the 1st Annual Walk n Roll-athon we met our goal and raised over $12,000 for the new equipment. We are looking forward to less of a line up for the Nu Step and hope you enjoy the new machine!

Revved Up will be closed Friday, April 26. As well, Revved Up is closed Monday, April 29 to Friday, May 3 for end of term shut-down. Summer sessions begin the week of May 6!

This year's 1st Annual Walk n' Roll-athon which took place on Saturday, March 23 was a huge success! A round of applause for the Let's Get Revved Up Club who dedicated many hours over and above their academics to pull off a successful year of advocacy for persons experiencing disability, enhancing community relationships and fundraising efforts for the Revved Up program!
The Let's Get Revved Up Club 1st Annual Walk n' Roll-athon exceeded our expectations in providing a fantastic event for community members, students, Queen's staff and friends of Revved Up. Additionally, the incredible community support came pouring in and we have met our fundraising goal to purchase a piece of equipment for the Revved Up Gym! The Walk n' Roll event was held on Saturday, March 23rd and we hope to see you next year!!
On April 7, we will be hosting another Wheelchair Basketball 🏀 TRY IT session! The session will begin with an introduction to Wheelchair Basketball, warmup exercises, and basic skill development. The TRY IT session aims to generate awareness for parasport and is open to everyone!

Come out and try Wheelchair Basketball! Queen's Athletics and Recreation will be hosting 3 (free!) Try It Sessions for participants to come out and try the sport of wheelchair basketball. The hope is to introduce the sport to our community, raise awareness of parasport and use this as a starting point to start a more formal program come fall 2024!
