Estelle K
Estelle K is a clothing and accessories brand that specializes in creating unique handmade gifts ranging from jewelry and hair accessories.
Our method involves reimagining traditional processes to create wearable art!
A pattern but not a pattern 🤔
Free styling is probably the hardest thing to do because there aren’t any actual rules to follow. I made this about 3 times before I felt it was random but cohesive😩
I would love to get a name suggestion if you have any ideas🙏🏽
Creativity 🤝 Risk
As I finished creating this it was screaming ‘winter wonderland’. I began praying for snow all week and it came right at the perfect time!
I set my (electrical) ring light in the snow with a time limit of 10 minutes (coz you can’t get electrocuted in 10 minutes) and did my thang!
This colorful cutie will be up in the shop just before the new year!☺️
New Estelle K got me feeling like 😁
What colors are you trying to see the hats in? 👀
Every now and then I just make stuff for me ☺️ Also, I’m really just enjoying exploring my creativity, revisiting photography, dressing up, relearning how to apply make up and just having fun you know. Not business and algorithms everyday 😅
✨✨AND THEY ARE HERE✨✨
Please shop the first 2 designs of my series in the link in my bio 🥰
I wholeheartedly appreciate every reshare, kind word and purchase you make to support me! You are watering the seeds of the Estelle K vision ♥️
African art to the world🧚🏾♀️
✨1 more sleep before we drop! ✨
Life update: I moved. And with that, I lost access to my sewing again 😩 (for now) but as you know, Estelle K is built on exploring and experimenting with different forms of art so this is not a setback, it’s a catalyst.
And so here we are, I’m revisiting crochet in accessories and I’m bringing fun and elevated designs to your closets with a classic;
This collection of bucket hats all about breaking traditions and norms. Because honestly, if your accessories aren’t standing out, were they even worth buying?

Guess what’s dropping in 3 days!!!☺️
Idk about y’all but I’ve been in a pandemic way too long not to stand out. We will no longer be saving those outfits! 😤
On Wednesday, Estelle K is bringing you more one of kind accessories to elevate your staples. Let me know how we’re feeling this in the comments ☺️
We’ve got options okaaayyy!!
We have options okaaayy!!!
Everyone needs that one thing in their closet people could never imitate 😌
Y’’all ready?
Can I just post something pretty and you like it and buy it and look pretty?😂
Can we just be candid for 2 minutes?
My favourite thing about slow fashion is the care, precision and detail that goes into each and every piece!
And I hope that everyone who supports Estelle K knows that they are investing in a real person and contributing to a larger ecosystem of small businesses too ☺️
Can you believe this is the only pair of Estelle’s that I own? 😅 I know all the makers here can relate! The last person you’re making for is for yourself yet this is usually how the whole business began 🙆🏾♀️
A friend sent me a DM after I shared this top yesterday and said she wishes she could wear stuff like this but her bust won’t let her.
I’m here to tell you that YOU CAN!
Having a big bust myself I designed this top to hide bra straps and your bra hooks in the back. I had us girls in mind 😊
So no more excuses! join Estelle K crochet gang 💃🏾
Ironic coz summer is looking a little bleak here in Kitchener😭 but we can make our own right?
Hi peeps!
Check out my lil summer combo here! It’s up in my shop right now and if want to see more pics, click the link in my bio:)
Do you ever have those moments you realize you are the you you prayed for all those years back? I was rereading my journals over the week and I repeatedly mentioned how I would like to relaunch my fashion business after I took a break in 2018. It’s almost a year to the day I relaunched and I’m in awe at who I am and have become. I am actually doing it; Estelle K is alive and healthy!
Just some small milestones but all growth is good growth 🌱

Bringing these cuties back to your feeeds!!! 😊
I live for the party in the back! That’s always been my favourite design aesthetic. Anything that shows off shoulders and the arc as you slide down a woman’s back 🤌🏾
Finally got round to making this style in other colors! I sincerely hope you like this 🥺 please don’t hesitate to send feedback on anything. This is how Estelle K grows 🌱
Tbt to when I made my first custom pair of with a customer whose really gone out of her way to support my craft. Her mum loved the first ones so much we had to have another! 🎉
I currently have these and other colours on sale in my store for a limited time. Each of them are carefully made with double snap bands. Check the reviews and grab yourself a set!
SOLD OUT! Just shipped out the last bag in this color but fear not I’m working on a black version with new improvements. Doing this more often is making me better and I want Estelle K to be known for that ☺️
This pair just found a new home!✨
I’m ever grateful for the support and I truly do enjoy making these for you just as much as you enjoy wearing them ☺️
These earrings are part of my first collection that was purposed on celebrating women. I love every bit of us; our strength, our softness, our beauty and our bodies. These earrings in particular were inspired by my personal journey with my body over the last 3 years.
2019-20, I was guilty of looking at my body and hating it. I gained a little weight and my ‘second puberty’ hit me at 24 and I fell into shame and embarrassment. The shame made me eat even more junk and it made everything worse. I just wanted to be a tall, skinny dark girl. I spent all summer hiding and being uncomfortable.
However Nov 2020. I decided I wasn’t going to spend my favourite season of the year hiding again. I wasn’t going to let my youth wash away. In a series of trials, errors, giving up and being highly motivated, I began to work out and eating better. It’s been a roller coaster but what started on the outside has healed me inside.
I lost weight sure, but I’m at a point where I’m happy with what I look like and who I am. I will always have cellulite and this fuppah may never go away. These hips are here to stay and as I am as I am, I am as I am. This is me and I am content with who I am.
This body is healthy, functional, beautiful and resourceful. It’s carrying me through a pandemic and my God does it look stunning doing it!
This was the thought process behind this art here. This is a celebration I want all women to carry with them. Our bodies are purposed for more than the male gaze, they are functional and beautiful! As you pick up a pair I do hope you remember this and honour them 🌻

The Estelle K Craft Studio!
Hi!
Welcome to Estelle K Studio where I tell stories with wearable art!
I am an art enthusiast originally from Zimbabwe with a dream of bringing African artworks to mainstream fashion culture.
My journey started in Cape Town in 2016 where I set up a women's fashion brand called Estelle K as an undergraduate law student. The response was encouraging but due to financial reasons, I had to put the brand on pause for a while.
Change came in 2019, when I entered the PPC Imaginarium competition where I created a winning collection made from cement and cement bags! I realized fabric wasn't the only media I could tell stories with and I began incorporating crocheting and bead work to my craft. Covid 19 has increased the amount of free time I have and I have started crafting themed earrings and crocheting crop tops.
In this Studio, I am looking to experiment, challenge and incorporate traditional methods of crafting fashion goods. This brand celebrates difference and is perfect for anyone looking to stand out in something original. For now, my current goal is to rebuild the brand by selling accessories. With time, I will then be able to launch a clothing brand to compliment the accessories.
