We are noticing everyone using our secret hacks to get their sushi orders filled! Jared even made 12 sushi rolls before we even opened today 👀 and when we opened our online order portal today, it was full of pre-orders.

Jared made extra rice today so we are fully loaded for those cravings! We appreciate you and are so grateful!

We have been told that we are for “those who know” and it seems that many people “know”!

We were completely sold out of rice by 6:40 last night because so many people placed their orders early in the day. We thank you for the early orders and we are so grateful for the support. Conversely, we are so sorry that we had to turn so many people away but we are fully stocked today and promise to fill all the sushi cravings that we could not fill last night

We are back for our holiday and we are filled with joy and gratitude!

When you go away for a few weeks, there’s always a lingering fear in the back of your mind that when you reopen, you may not be busy; it was so nice to be missed and to have so many people come by and see us. Our first week back and we have been slammed with orders and catering. Thank you so much everyone for the love and support.

Vacation Mode off and Work mode on!

We are back from our lazy 2 weeks of holiday. We are geared up and ready to fill sushi cravings. We have several catering events planned this week and will potentially have to turn off on-line ordering; please remember to pre-order on-line or by the phone to ensure you get your cravings filled.

Jared has been making rice since 7:00 this morning and he has gone through 3 batches (which is equivalent to 3 days of service) and none of the rice is turning out.

We believe the supplier gave us a bad batch of grains and we do not have any other supply at this point. The rice is turning out hard in the center and we will not lower our standards to serve this.

We sincerely apologize as some of you guys pre-ordered for today and many said you were coming in to fill the Humble Lotus craving before we close for 2 weeks.

We truly appreciate you and thank you for your understanding and support.

Today and tomorrow we are featuring the pretty and peach roll; one made with mahi-mahi, avocados, cucumbers, red peppers, drizzled with our Lucky sauce and our seasonal peach, reaper hot sauce, then topped with a tangy And smoky grilled peach salsa. Also available in a vegan version with salt, tofu and all of the other fixings. We have limited quantities of both please place your orders through online or call us. We’re open today and tomorrow from noon until 8 PM.

And a reminder that we will be closed after this Saturday until September 4. We hope everyone enjoy the rest of this beautiful summer and will see you in September.

Oh wait it’s peach reaper sauce. Yes it’s that time of the year again. The orchards are bursting with the sweet smell of peaches. We have our first batch of peach reaper sauce this week.

Jared woke yesterday and said “ I’m ready for a holiday” so he’s getting a notorized letter from the lawyers to say “My is right! We need a break”

So it is almost that time of the year when we get a chance to re-charge and spend some time enjoying the last few days of summer break with the family.

We have decided to close the last 2 weeks of August. Our last day of opening the shop will be August 17. Please get in your Humble Lotus sushi cravings filled over the next 3 weeks.

Yes it’s true we are taking a day off!

We are staying late tonight, working extra hard to fill your cravings as we have decide to take the long weekend off to allow the batteries to recharge and have some family time.

It’s Canada Day and we want to celebrate being Canadian and welcome the summer break. As you may know we always do our best to put our guests first that’s why we are staying late today so If you have a craving that needs to be filled please call you orders in or on-line for no wait times. If DoorDash is turned off it’s because we are busy and can take phone orders only.

We have been so busy Fridays and Saturdays and some of you have not had your cravings filled. The new hack is that everyone is pre-ordering early in the day or even the day before, for later pick up times (on line and phone) that we are selling out so early. Bombay all day ;) back by popular Demand this week. We sold out of the Bombay Roll last Friday and many of your were asking if we would have it again this week. Jared was able to find some succulent mushrooms again this week but a slightly different mix, no Shiitakes but gorgeous Portabello instead, all organic and all delicious.
