Chapstick is something I think everyone uses .... but what many don’t know is how toxic they can be ....

1. 𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗺 aka petroleum, yep that stuff you put in your car!

2. 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐞 (𝐁𝐇𝐀) & 𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐲𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐱𝐲𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐞 (𝐁𝐇𝐓), health concerns linked to these chemicals include endocrine disruption, organ-system toxicity, developmental and reproductive toxicity, cancer and respiratory irritation.

3. 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐧𝐬 which are potential endocrine disruptors due to their ability to mimic estrogen.

4. 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 aka hidden chemicals. cosmetic manufacturers can withhold the actual ingredients used in their fragrances in order to “protect their trade secrets”. fragrances often contain high levels of phthalates which are strong hormone disruptors linked to decreased s***m count in men & reduced female fertility. They also cause a worsening of allergy & asthma symptoms.

Thieves Household Cleaner is safe to use at a 15:1 dilution or higher for most non-porous surfaces. One capful of Thieves Household Cleaner is equal to approximately ½ tablespoon, so ½ cup of water mixed with one capful of cleaner yields a 15:1 dilution.

From kitchen floors, to sinks and even deodorize and clean minor spots! Here's a DIY couch and upholstery cleaner recipe:

Combine 1 capful of Thieves Household Cleaner with 1-2 cups baking soda. Mix well.

Let sit for 24 hours to thoroughly combine. Add 5 drops of Lavender essential oil for an extra boost of freshness. Sprinkle lightly over furniture and wait 1 hour. Use a stiff brush and back-and-forth motions to work the cleaner into the fabric; then vacuum up the excess. You can also use this technique on car upholstery, mattresses, carpets, and rugs.

Instructions: ⠀⁣

1. Using a funnel, pour all ingredients into a 6- or 8-ounce bottle with a lid. ⠀⁣
2. Shake gently until mixed well. ⠀⁣
3. Soak a cotton ball in the solution, then rub onto fingernails until polish is removed. You can also dip your nails in the solution for 20–30 seconds and use a cotton ball to wipe clean. ⠀⁣
4. Wash hands with soap and water.

This sink scrub is so quick and simple to make and so effective for cleaning your dirty sink!

𝑫𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝒐𝒏 𝒉𝒐𝒘 𝒕𝒐 𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒆:
✧ Combine 2 cups of baking soda with 20 drops of Lemon Essential Oil and add it to a glass jar with a shaker top
✧ Rinse down your sink
✧ Sprinkle your sink scrub all over your sink
✧ Add a sq**rt of your favorite dish soap or Castile soap to a sponge or scrubber
✧ Scrub and rinse off thoroughly

Diffuse to uplift and stimulate the mind and body.

Add 10–15 drops to Young Living lotions and shampoos to energize the spirit.

Combine with sea salt, V-6 Vegetable Oil Complex, Ylang Ylang, Peppermint, and Lavender to exfoliate the skin.

Use as a cleanser to remove stickiness or grease from surfaces, remove gum from hair, or remove crayon or permanent marker from walls.

Mix with Citronella essential oil for a pleasant, citrus-scented outdoor spray.

Add to dishwashing detergent for a spot-free rinse and to help clean your dishwasher.

Use 8–10 drops with water in a spray bottle to freshen the air

Put a few drops of oils on your dryer balls and toss them in the dryer to freshen your clothes without the harsh toxins found in dryer sheets. Here are a few of our favorite oils to add to our laundry!

Lemon! Diffusing it in my diffuser for the fresh scent along with the immune boosting properties it gives as a bonus.
Lemon is very popular because it's very high in d-limonene. Go research what that is😉!
Also great for the skin but stay out of the sun after applying it. Lemon is photosensitive.
