Cober, with headquarters in Kitchener Ontario, is pleased to announce its acquisition of Alberta based West Canadian Digital Imaging (WCD) digital print and wide format signage division. This strategic acquisition marks a significant milestone in Cober’s history and reinforces their commitment to delivering brand solutions nationwide.

This acquisition will provide their collective customer base the ability to print and fulfill to over 80% of the Canadian population in a cost effective, timely manner while also significantly reducing the emissions produced through cross country shipping.

Raising awareness about our environmental impact one tire at a time! 🚘🌿

Did you know under-inflated tires burn more fuel? Every litre of fuel consumed by a vehicle releases 2.4 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere. Improper tire maintenance wastes 500 million litres of fuel a year and releases 1.2 million tonnes of CO2 into the atmosphere.

Our Green team, comprised of passion members from our company, held their very own Tire Pressure Clinic this week to educate, inform and of course fill the tires of our staff to ensure their vehicles are operating at an environmentally optimal level.

A big thank you goes out to our Green Team for continuing to provide us with sustainably conscious practises that we can implement each day.

A big shoutout to our VP of Wide-Format, Darren, and his daughter, Jamie, for taking a step in the right direction this past weekend by doing the CN Tower Climb For Nature!

This initiative is in support of WWF-Canada with all funds raised going towards fighting biodiversity loss and climate change.

Darren and Jamie climbed 1776 steps (144 flights of stairs) in 35 minutes and raised a whopping $2000!

It is bittersweet that we announce our Director of Sales and Marketing, Gord Saray, has retired after an incredible 36 year career in the paper and print industry. The Cober team wishes him all the best and thanks him for playing a huge role in our continued success.

With that said, we are also thrilled to announce the promotion of our Consumer Driven Sales Lead, Rachel Crowther, into her new role as Director of Sales and Marketing! Over the last five years, Rachel has proven herself as the best fit for this role to lead and guide the Cober Sales Team into the future.

Please join us in congratulating both Gord and Rachel on their new and exciting next chapters!

Nash has returned home from the World Martial Arts - World Championship in England as a champion!

Representing Team Canada with two gold, four silver, two bronze medals and a grand championship.

Pictured above is our VP of Wide-Format, Darren Buck, alongside the daughter (Terri) of now deceased Cambridge artist and legend, Dave Sopha M.S.M,KSTG (1947-2021). Featured in this image is Dave’s golf cart turned hotrod, which we recently designed and installed with a full vehicle wrap.The wrap design utilized visual aspects of his world renowned painting, “Portraits of Honour”.

Portraits of Honour is a massive oil painting that stretches 43ft in length and 9.5ft in height. It features the portraits of 158 soldiers who died serving in Afghanistan since 2002 and 114,485 poppies representing every Canadian who lost their life in military service since the beginning of the First World War. This work gained international attention in 2011 when Dave completed the painting and accompanied it on a cross-Canada tour.

One of the fallen soldiers honoured in the mural is Sgt. Jason Boyes, who happened to be the cousin of our VP of Wide-Format’s wife. This personal connection made participating in this project that much more meaningful.

We here at Cober feel extremely privileged to donate this project to the Sopha family and we are thankful for the opportunity to represent Dave’s work and honour the many Canadians who lost their lives fighting for our country.
