Let's Go Rangers!
After a thrilling weekend, filled with hard work and determination, the U12AA Jr. Rangers emerged on top at the Stratford Silver Stick Regional Qualifier. They faced strong teams from across southern Ontario. After finishing first in their division, the Jr Rangers met the Nothhumberland Nighthawks in the semi-finals. The Rangers fought off a late-game push from the Nighthawks to meet the Burlington Eagles in the final game on Sunday. In the finals, both teams were evenly matched, and pushed the game into extra frames. In some tense 3-on-3 OT action L. Cormier found the back of the net to secure the Jr. Rangers the Championship.
We send many thanks to our dedicated coaches, who have helped raise the bar for this team in the first months of the season.
The Jr. Rangers head back to work this week with more skills to practice and some exciting games coming up!
