It is with a heavy heart that I announce the sudden passing of our teammate, brother-in-arms and recent father, David ‘Fergie’ Genereaux.

He passed away Saturday, in a fatal collision. He was the only one in the vehicle; his wife (Sabrina) and baby boy (Jason) were not involved.

David was a genuinely amazing man, always smiling, ready to help, on and off the field. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Our deepest condolences go out to Sabrina, and David’s family, while they grieve this unexpected loss.

Special Media Release from our Home Field.

This past year has certainly been a roller coaster for us all. Regardless of where you are in the world, in one way or another you have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Waterloo Region and Flag Raiders Paintball are no exception.

We are fortunate that despite having to close the indoor location in early March of 2020, we were able to modify operations and welcome our guests outdoors midway through the season. Although we were not able to host our special events, the pandemic forced us to revisit what we love about the sport of paintball and get back to our roots.

COVID-19 case numbers locally and in neighbouring communities are concerning. Flag Raiders Paintball always has put the safety of our guests, staff and community first and foremost and right now is no exception.

As we reflect upon this past year and other impacts beyond our control, we wish to announce that Flag Raiders Outdoor Paintball will no longer be operating at the Bingemans location. We wish to thank Bingemans for their hospitality over the years and the many collaborative projects that we have worked on together with great success.

Throughout our 37 years of operation, Flag Raiders Paintball has been at the forefront of the industry. During our downtime this past winter we were able to focus on and plan for the future of our business and the evolution of our Adventure Park. While we aren’t ready to announce our next steps quite yet, you can be assured that they will continue to “set the trends that other fields follow”.

Please bear with us over the next few months as we work towards re-opening. We look forward to welcoming our guests, new and old, once again soon. If you have a booking that was rescheduled from 2020 we will be in contact with you to reschedule for a later date.

We wish to be very clear that Flag Raiders is not closing or going out of business. Good things come to those who wait, and we can assure you, this is worth waiting for! Please continue to follow our social media for updates and information as it becomes available.

Covid 19 UPDATE...

Temporarily Closed

At this time Flag Raiders Outdoor Paintball remains closed due to COVID-19. Although our Region’s current status would permit a limited number of participants, many of our guests travel from other areas where COVID-19 cases are much higher. The health and safety of our guests, staff and community is of the utmost importance and for that reason we have chosen to remain closed until we feel it is safe to do so.

We thank you in advance for your understanding and look forward to seeing you soon.

Flag Raiders Paintball has always put the safety of customers and staff first and now is no exception.  Our outdoor location at Bingeman's in Kitchener continues to be open on weekends from 9 am to 4 pm. We have made some changes to the way we do things to ensure everyone's safety, while making sure everyone has a great experience.  
 
What are we doing to keep everyone safe?
 
1.  Please register online if you can.

2.  Online waiver and screening form.  Each player will need to complete their waiver and a separate Covid-19 screening form.

3.  Physical distancing measures are in place.

4.  Wear a mask!  Masks are mandatory while on the premise in the common areas, such as parking and staging.

5.  Wash your hands!  Hand sanitizer is available in the staging area in multiple locations.  
 
We have had a great season so far and it's been great to see so many familiar faces.  Let's all do our part to slow the spread of Covid-19. Outdoor paintball is an awesome way to get out and have fun!  We can't wait to see you!
