Starting June 2022, I decided to share my daily lullaby here. If you need a relaxing end to your day, please join me! I play my 'magic' piano, Sparky, in my studio in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Welcome to my Studio! After giving up the piano for decades, I returned once more to my old Love during the pandemic. This was, after (literally), the worst day of my life. On Feb. 23, 2020, my right thumb

was accidentally chopped off while I was being restrained by police, who had responded to a report of my su***de attempt. I had become severely alcoholic, morbidely obese (425 lbs), was unemployed, and had given up hope for my life. In my youth I had dreams of being a concert pianist. (I even gave a few concert tours in my younger days). After becoming discouraged one day, I gave up the piano (didn't even own one for over 20 years). I joined the 'business world', with it's long commutes and hectic lifestyle. Exactly one month after I was released from mandatory psychiatric care, (and, with my right thumb surgically reattached), the Covid-19 pandemic hit. Everything was locked down. At that time (in the shape I was in), the virus for me would have been deadly. I had decided that I didn't want to die, I wanted to live... to play the piano again. So, I have been in quarantine in my apartment for 2 years, 2 months, 3 weeks and 6 days (roughly). Needing a goal for myself, I decided I would enter (and win) an international piano competition. I chose the "International Competition for Outstanding Piano Amateurs", held annually (until covid) in Paris, France. The winner is also invited to perform with the French national orchestra on live television. I have already made my choice... Grieg piano concerto in A- :)

As this covid crap has dragged on, I just kept my routine... walk, meditate, play piano (repeat). Now, however, I need a digital reader. I have a friend in a desperate, and urgent situation. With the reader, I hope to be able to quickly take requests, and play Sparky, without the distraction of page turns. I intend to raise money for him and his family (who are about to become homeless). I have never asked for tips for my music, (and I really had no intention of introducing "Kevi" to the world on RedditSessions). I will play the faster, livelier pieces at 2:15 EST at my "Kevi's Studio" page. The more peaceful, or romantic selections I will perform at my "Kevi's Lullaby" page at sundown (9:15).
