Are you seeing a lack of online growth in your business? Incorporate these 5 simple ways to enhance your web presence as a service provider! 1️⃣ Google Business profile: In short, having a business profile on Google allows searchers to see your hours, services, reviews, contact details, updates and more all in one place. It also gives your business a more established presence! 2️⃣ Social Media profiles: Having social media gives your business a chance to show your business' true self and allows people to relate to, learn from and learn about you and your business. It gives a face to the name and also shows search engines you have more presence on the internet. 3️⃣ Service-specific databases: Having profiles on multiple databases gives search engines more places to pull up your information and gives your business a bigger sense of credibility. For example, people looking for a therapist may be redirected to Psychology Today (@psych_today) and if you are not listed there, searchers won't know about you! 4️⃣ Scheduling App: Scheduling apps not only streamline your booking process, but they also are additional websites in themselves that can be integrated into your website, Google profile and social media profiles. For example, a popular scheduler is Jane app, and can be easily linked on any of your profiles. 5️⃣ Insurance Databases: Similar to the service-specific databases, some insurance companies have a list of providers they provide to their customers to ensure it is clear who is covered. For example, Sunlife has a portal called Lumino Health where health service providers can create a profile to be easily found by searchers. These are just some of the ways to enhance your web presence and bring recognition to your business. Let’s talk more about call to actions! Call to actions or CTAs are important for your social media posts as well as your websites. On your websites, they can be in the form of a button or clickable word(s) linking to your contact info, other pages or a separate reputable site. For social media posts, a few examples are “share this post”, “like if you agree”, “tag someone who ____”, “save for later”, or do the word ____ for more information”. CTAs should be: - direct and to the point - an easy action (the simpler, the better) - purposeful (give a short reason for your audience) For example: “like this post if you learned something new” What are your most commonly used call to actions?
