Hutter sensei, Wright sensei and Keilikhis sensei participated in a great seminar this past weekend with Robert Mustard shihan and Jo Thambu shihan, two of the top teachers of Yoshinkan Aikido. There was so much great learning and it was awesome to see lots of old friends and meet new people too!

The Sendokan in Mississauga is hosting a seminar nobody who trains aikido should miss. These are two living legends of Yoshinkan Aikido, both as practitioners and as teachers. Can't recommend strongly enough to do it justice. Osu!

This past weekend, our dojo hosted a grand opening seminar, and it was an absolute success. A heartfelt thank you to Robert Mustard Shihan for his invaluable instruction and unwavering support in launching our dojo.

Special gratitude to Alan Shumak Sensei from the Toronto Aikido Centre for co-hosting the event, and to Nicholas Mills Sensei, John Havey Sensei, Chris Johnston Sensei, and Nick Kilislian Sensei for their invaluable support.

The KW Yoshinkan sensei team is at a seminar at the Sendokan Dojo in Mississauga this weekend with 8 top 6th and 7th dan Yoshinkan teachers from around the province. You can see Wright sensei throwing a blue belt from London using the irimizuki technique in the foreground.

Keilikhis sensei and Wright sensei visited Christopher Johnston sensei at the Shindokan dojo in Oakville for his monthly Kenshu (research) class for black belts this morning. We studied aspects of kuzushi, connection, and using kamae to generate power. It was an awesome class!

There is a Yoshinkan aikido seminar next weekend featuring a lineup of 8 high ranking instructors hosted by our friends, the phenomenal Sendokan Dojo ()! Our team will be visiting and we hope to see many old familiar faces, and make some new training friends too! If you are willing to make the short drive, it's a great place to see and learn from some of the best aikido instructors in Ontario!
