THEMUSEUM is seeking artists to participate in The Brush Off! We need artists who thrive in an exciting, dynamic, engaging environment, while creating their work on the spot.

In the event, artists will compete in up to 3 rounds; winners from each round will be selected by the audience votes and advance to the final round.

The winning artist and the runner up are guaranteed to receive prizes!

THEMUSEUM will provide all paint, canvas and easels. Artists will provide their own brushes/tools. Participants must be a minimum of 18 years of age. Deadline for artist participants to submit their application is Sunday December 18, 2022 at 5 pm.

Join The Grand River Blues Society and THEMUSEUM for a night of Blues music to support Mel Brown’s Legacy in Waterloo Region!

Funds raised will go towards the creation of a Mississippi Blues Marker in Mel’s name, the first in Canada, plus, a life-size statue of Mel and his guitar sitting on a bench.
