This Sunday, attend this amazing fundraising concert hosted by

Their season finale features an extended single-movement composition for bass clarinet, instrumental cameos, and fixed electronics focussed on bringing awareness to the invisible mental health impacts and struggles of having a brain injury. This piece is inspired by the story of bass clarinetist Kathryn Ladano and her recovery journey. The work brings together many voices of brain injury survivors who describe their challenges and successes in overcoming the prolonged debilitating hardships of their brain injuries. The work aims to enlighten and inspire. Commissioned by NUMUS with financial support from the and the Waterloo Region Community Foundation.

It takes place at on Sunday, June 11th and is followed by a post-concert reception! Tickets can be purchased at the link bio and proceeds from this event will go to supporting brain injury survivors and their families in the Waterloo Region and across Ontario. Buying a ticket gives you automatic access to the reception AND a free drink ticket!
