Join our team of professional AZ drivers at Frontier. We are currently hiring for a cross border driver for trips to the Midwest/Central/ Southeast United States. We offer hourly pay based on ELD hours, benefit package starting on day one, scale and toll bypass, Sirius radio in every truck and more...

We require that drivers have a minimum of 2 years experience with a clean driving record and are able to cross the border.

'Twas the night before Christmas, all across the Great White North,
Not a driver was stirring, as issues ventured forth.
The highways were silent, no cheers from the rigs,
As drivers pondered the mess of political pigs.

The government, in Ottawa, snug in their beds,
Neglecting the industry, ignoring what's said.
And mamma with her invoices, and I with my pen,
Wondering when change would come, again and again.

When out by the scale, there rose such a clatter,
Inequity and unfairness, and regulatory matters.
Away to the window, I flew like a flash,
Hoping for policies that would make a fair splash.

The moon on the snow gave an icy glare,
Highlighting the struggles that truckers must bear.
And what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a group of trucks, with voices so clear.

With a frustrated driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment, it must be St. Nick.
More bitter than winter, his words they came,
As he ranted about Driver Inc. and the government’s blame.

"Now Taxes! Now Policies! Now Fairness and Rule! On Accountability! On Change! Don't be a fool!
To the halls of Parliament, let your voices be heard,
For the plight of truckers, let justice be stirred!"

As dry leaves that before the harsh winter winds fly,
Truckers faced hardships, asking, "Why, oh why?"
The Canadian government, inaction in sight,
Leaving truckers to navigate an unfair business fight.

So let's hope for reforms, for a change that is swift,
For a trucking industry with a more equitable lift.
But until then, truckers, keep hauling with might,
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a fair fight!

Hope everyone has a fun, safe and spooktackular Halloween.

The impact of this border mandate will be felt across the economy and will be magnified by the coming mandate that all federally regulated truck drivers be fully vaccinated (not just the cross border drivers). For the last 2 years truck drivers worked nonstop travelling in and out of COVID hotspots with negligible numbers being infected or spreading the virus. This mandate against a population that kept us supplied during the pandemic is misguided, short sighted and not supported by statistics. Perhaps when store shelves are emptier than they are now people (government) will realize just how essential truck drivers are.

On this Remembrance Day, we would like to thank and remember all those who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms as well as the veterans and active duty military personnel who continue to protect our freedoms today.
