Heading into the long weekend…what are you up to?
With a backyard like this, no travel plans necessary.
We sectioned the space around the pool into multiple zones to create intimacy + warmth. Sleek lounge chairs for sunning, fireside outdoor living room, dining and of course the stunning pool house used as an office and poolside lounge.
We’re never leaving.

You know those mornings you’d love to stay in bed and drink coffee all day? That would be every day in this bed. It feels like climbing into freshly washed sheets. We’re never leaving.

We would like to welcome our newest team member to the family. Judy is a humble voice of peace and calm around the studio + on shoots. She is a fabulous listener, enjoys reading + loves hugs. Some may think she is cold and hardened but she’s really quite soft and tender and can hold a pose longer than anyone we know.
Stay tuned for more adventures with Judy coming soon…

Love loudly. Love deeply. Love well. Especially yourself.
Feeling grateful for the beauty of this life this sunny Saturday. For all the things that bring the light - the people, the moments, the love + community.
Let it light up something
sacred inside you
Let it burn everything in the way

A beautiful place to gather and share time + space with loved ones creates a haven for connection and optimal health.
Our environment, the places we live and the people and things we choose to surround ourselves with evoke feelings of love, safety + ease. Heading into the weekend, we hope you slow down and enjoy the presence of those around you xx
“Research has shown that the simple habit of sitting down for a meal with loved ones on a consistent basis can directly improve our food choices, reduce the negative effects of stress, and even improve our body composition. It’s not just what we eat, but how we eat, and with whom we’re eating that can make all the difference in the world.” - Dr. Mark Hyman

The sweetest little one’s room around. We could spend a day building forts + reading books + drifting off for an afternoon sleep here any day.

It’s been a few months but only took a few minutes to know this girl is a gem. Our Junior Designer, Alexia Gibbons, has so much talent + heart and brings a vibrant energy to our team. We couldn’t be happier to have her and we look forward to seeing her grow with us! Welcome to the family Lexi 🤍
Who said basement bathrooms had to be basic?

The home office of our dreams. We took a bland, white walled space in a custom-built home from cold + cluttered to warm + layered + styled. Statement wallpaper, custom millwork + every inch thoughtfully designed. Swipe to see the before!
2023 was a trip! We knocked out some amazing projects, grew our team (stay tuned for a proper intro soon), did a lot of yoga, wandered around Italy for a couple of glorious weeks, hockey mom’d, soccer mom’d, dug deep, invited what is meant for us and released what isn’t, and laughed a LOT.
We are looking so forward to a year of growth, connection + some killer projects in 2024. Grateful for all of our amazing clients, trades and suppliers that enriched our experience of this trip around the sun. We have loads of exciting things up our sleeve this year and we can’t wait to share them with you all.
Sending love + light today and always xx
“What if your markers of success were how well you slept at night? How many books you read? How easily you laughed? How much time you spent storytelling, feeling warm in the arms and homes of people you adore.”

These cozy snowy nights call for warm, moody spaces. Ours still have the lingering scent of post full moon palo + sage ✨🔮
This project started with our client wanting to create texture, depth and interest in their newer custom home. It grew into a much larger project where we touched almost every room in the house. But we didn’t lose sight of their origin! Custom shaker wainscot was added to this lonnng blank hallway wall making the space feel richer + creating a perfect entry to come home to every day

Moody-hotel-lobby-bar vibes.
Layering different textures and materials creates a design that has depth and richness.
Unlacquered brass, antique mirror, leathered charcoal stone, reeded wood, rich greeney-black, smokey glass.
Did I mention this is in a basement??

We updated this kitchen from boring white and black by adding new brass hardware, a custom designed white oak hood vent and a zellige inspired tumbled porcelain 4x4 backsplash. We also gave the small upper doors a refresh with painted white caning for texture and a relaxed vibe. Oh, and always, always, a runner.

“If you’re in a bad mood, go for a walk. If you’re still in a bad mood, go for another walk” ~ Hippocrates
As my guru, says, “a good workout relieves excess stress. That’s because exercise reduces cortisol - the stress hormone.” We designed this home gym to create a haven for health and wellness. A full floor to ceiling glass wall with double glass doors keeps the space feeling bright and allows daylight through to the adjacent living space. Even without the glass, you can transform extra basement space into a workout area or yoga room. Just one thing, always add plants.
Also this!
“In a new study, 2 minutes of exercise -TWO! - reduced cancer risk by almost 20%. Why isn’t this front page news?”
The cooler air today has us ready for cozy indoor dinner parties with family + friends who are family. Nurturing a sense of community and connection, thoughtful conversations with depth and rooted in awareness. Community is one of the most important factors in wellness and good health. We are inviting it all in 🤍
“The power of community to create health is far greater than any physician, clinic or hospital” - Dr. Mark Hyman
I can think of several things that would make me happier than getting robbed and losing several weeks of work. Like jumping right onto this cushy smooshy sofa hiding under these pillows, for one. All the gratitude and breathing gets us 90% there but the other ten has us pulling every hair out of our heads! Send wine! 🫤
Heading into this last long weekend of summer, we hope it is safe, peaceful and filled with love + family for all of you. We are full of gratitude for all of our wonderful clients, followers and really just all of the good, kind-hearted people in our lives. A quick story to tell you…
This week, our office was broken into. The perpetrators (robbers as my kids like to call them) stole two computers among other equipment. This happened during the day on a random weekday. It has felt violating and an invasion of personal space that just plain feels yucky. And yet, we are so grateful that our team is safe and for the kindness and patience of our clients while we have been in damage control and getting things back up and running.
As unfortunate and inconvenient as this event has been, we can handle hard things. With gratitude and mindfulness, all will be well. We may not find out whodunnit, but we can be thankful for safety, for the friendship and support we have been offered and for the mindful awareness that this too, shall pass.
Also, we love love love this kitchen! More to come of soon!
Sending you all love + light
Andrea
How is it the last Saturday in August? I know we say it every year, but it really does feel like this summer has drifted by in a flash.
How are you spending your weekend? With all the rain lately, we’re hopeful for sunshine today. But if rain means we have to hang out in here, we would be a-ok with it. Whatever you’re up to, we hope you feel love + light! xx
