Meet Evan Bowman!

Evan is from Chilliwack, BC and will be coming to TWU to study Human Kinetics and play on the Spartans Men’s Volleyball team! Go Spartans! 👏

He is excited to learn what’s its like to be a university student while in a faith-based environment. He’s also excited to play volleyball with a bunch of new guys and develop as as volleyball player. His favourite activity is playing spike ball with friends and he also loves to golf!

Jeffrey is from Hong Kong but went to school in Abbotsford, BC and will be studying Kinesiology. He’s most looking forward to living on campus and spending some time in our new RGK building. When Jeffrey isn’t studying or working on school, you’ll find him writing a song or volunteering!

Anna is from Abbotsford, BC. She will be taking both a minor in art and a minor in history! She is really excited for the small classes and meeting new people. When she isn't studying, she loves doing anything outdoors, especially mountain biking and rock climbing!

Meet Ruthanne Downey, one of your incoming class students of 2026!

Ruthanne is going to be studying world languages and she is from San Jose, California.
Something that she is most excited for in coming to Trinity is the community and Christian atmosphere.
Her favourite activities to do when not studying or working on school is to listen to music and visit coffee shops!

2. What do you do now?
I play volleyball professionally in Germany 🇩🇪 ()

3. How do you feel TWU had equipped you?
TWU and the community there taught me how to really relate to people and engage in meaningful conversations. It taught me how to value community and the people around me even when you have very little spare time.

4. Any advice?
Be bold with your decisions, step out of your comfort zone fully knowing that there is no losing and just learning when you do this. Invest in the people around you, have fun and always be willing to grow.
