We had an early start at Stepping Stones, arriving at 7:30. It was a productive day, with various projects getting done or partially done. We got ours 95% done, amidst the pockets of torrential rain. It was a great day!

Responsibilities:

- assisting in training, supervising and assisting crew members in the company's installation practices. Specifically, techniques required for retaining walls, patios and grading.
- work well with others in a team environment and is helpful and courteous to customers.
- assist in training specific tasks to be performed by crew members for each jobsite.
- Must assist in directing a crew to accomplish work efficiently within the allotted scope of the job and budgeted time while monitoring work performance.
- Communicate with customers on-site on a routine basis to discuss the customers’ priorities and to inform the customer of scheduled maintenance tasks, progress reports, and courtesy calls as required. Must be helpful and courteous to customers.
- Ensures company policy is strictly adhered to and safe, professional workmanship is practiced at all times.
- Ensure, through training practices, that crew members properly care for and use of power equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
- Assist in ensuring equipment is in good operating order and crew members are trained in proper and safe operations.
- Must ensure that reporting is made to the foreman for all time sheets, job billing sheets, and other field reports so they are submitted on time and accurately to the administrative staff.
- Assist in preparing estimates, collecting production data.

Qualifications:

- Possess and utilize good interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, employees, and manager.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must possess a valid drivers' license with a driving record acceptable.
- Have at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Have a drive to obtain your red seal (we would help and sponsor you) or have it all ready.
- Have a solution-oriented mindset.

Pay is based on experience.

We had an awesome adventure on Friday, conquering the Chilliwack River with our fearless guide, Andy! We started the day with Personal Style Indicator assessments, digging deeper into how we can collaborate even better together.
