A refresh of a clients front yard. We added a new walkway to their front steps to solve the mucky worn out patch of grass in the wet winter months. Once the irrigation is live we will seed and the final transformation will be done.

The “goat” out doing goat things like climbing steep slippery slopes eating and Brush everywhere he went.

Helping out at a customers newly renovated house and newly subdivided lot. Graded around the house added topsoil, planted some trees and a small cedar hedge and a few shrubs. Got it all ready to go. He chose to seed it himself tomorrow before the rain comes.

Finished up the last of the gate installs yesterday. Had to stop and take in the view before we got started

“On the road again” we loaded up the skidsteer and the excavator and hit the road. We headed up to Manning Park to install some new gates. The gates were all pre fabricated. The posts for the gates were set in lock block sized concrete blocks. The catch posts that they lock the gates open to are half block. This meant getting elevations and positioning just right so all the pins and slides lined up just right. Thanks to Farm Tek Turf Services for use of a bigger truck to get our gear up here in one trip.

Been a busy summer here’s a look at some brush/blackberry cutting we did recently. The end result left the native trees from being taken over from
Ivy and blackberry.

Did some clean up of some hillsides/fields for one of our wonderful customers. We were able to get a nice clean finish with the grass head on our remote control machine, which we have affectionately nicknamed the “Goat”

Some before and after of some brush cutting we did. There was a mix of everything on this site from tall grass and weeds with small saplings and brambles as well as branches and debris left from previous brush cutting attempts. Our new brush head on the remote machine handled this no problem. We then came in after these pictures were taken with the skidsteer and grapple to gather logs and rocks to make it easier to maintain in the future.

Building rock walls is always rewarding when it all comes together.

Hope everyone is enjoying some sunshine today. We were out this morning helping a customer enjoy their property by getting the tall grass and some blackberries knocked down.

Despite the delay in spring weather we have been busy. Moving and planting trees and some lawn installs. Happy Easter everyone!

Had a fun couple days helping out the crew at Manning Park Resort with a bridge/culvert replacement on their crosscountry trails.

Now the skidsteer can join in on the brush cutting!
