Training day in BC wasn’t just all work and no play! Dealers and vendors were treated to an unforgettable day at BC Place Stadium, exchanging industry news and insight over a great game of football. 🚘📰

No visit to BC Place would be complete without a visit from Touchdowns for Communities ambassador, Andrew Peirson. A welcome interruption, #54 was gracious enough to pop by for an encouraging talk about his involvement with TDC, his hopes for the program, and a group photo with the dealers! 🤗

On July 24th, OK Tire - Fort Saskatchewan teamed up with CSN - FORT SASKATCHEWAN Auto Body, CSN Harold's and CSN Herbers, to help grant 18-year-old Carter Laframboise’s wish through Make-A-Wish Canada.

Carter’s wish was to restore his 2006 GMC Sierra, with a full makeover and tire upgrade courtesy of Blackhawk Tire North America. In a testament to Carter’s own strength and tenacity, the community showed up in spades to show their support for him and share in a moment of joy for the young man living with cystic fibrosis.

Our team shares their gratitude in being involved in special projects like Carter’s, and we wish him continued health, happiness, and many more rides in his beloved truck!

The big wheels were turning at this year’s Ag in Motion, where the OK Tire Commercial team joined up with BKT Tires for Western Canada’s largest outdoor agriculture expo! 🚜

Coming off an exciting 3-day tournament, the players celebrated their wins during the Banner & Cup Presentations – made extra special by Henoc, who helped hand out the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals. He capped off the evening with an unforgettable message about the game of football, inspiring not just the players, but everyone in attendance at Mosaic Stadium.

They say that teamwork makes the dream work. Well, that rang true for Kern, who went to OK Tire Guelph for a simple tire swap and drove away feeling like he was in a brand-new truck. ⭐🚙

“These guys don’t just do what they are asked, they go WAY OVER AND ABOVE. For at least 3 years now, I was dealing with premature front tire wear, even after ATLEAST 5 or more alignments at different shops, NOBODY could figure out why. I was informed by Jennifer at the desk that my front tires were wearing poorly. She suggested an alignment, so I figured, why not. No go, couldn’t get it to align properly. They kept digging. Turns out that the aftermarket control arms were installed incorrectly. NOBODY in the past that aligned this truck caught that issue, but these fellers found it.

These guys stayed until 6pm to fix this issue. There were no complaints, no fuss and despite being moments away from closing, they just wanted to make it right. It’s like driving a brand-new truck again, it’s better on fuel, it’s quieter to drive and it holds a straight line. I can’t thank these guys enough for what they’ve done. You are all the true definition of a business that is there for the people. It was an absolute pleasure to be able to discover your business, I’ll be back, sooner than later. Thanks again to the staff at OK Tire in Guelph.”

“On Wednesday 28 February 2024 at 10:15, I attended the OK Tire Shop as my dash indicator advised the tire pressure was low on my 2017 Ford Escape. I had my 83-year-old Mother with me taking her to an 11:00 medical apt. Seeing the concern on my face and feeling a little stressed, Graham advised he would have his staff attend to it immediately, if we’d like to take a seat in the lobby. Before I knew it, he was walking my mom holding her arm, as it was snowy and icy, to the front door. It took approximately 25 minutes for them to locate and fix a pin hole puncture on the left front tire. Upon completion Graham drove my car close to the front door for my mom’s easy access, handed me the keys and replied, “drive safe & have a good day”. He refused to take any payment. I can’t tell you how impressed my mom, and I were with his kindness, sensitivity, and professionalism. I will tell ALL who will listen of my very positive experience with OK Tire representative Graham. He is an excellent ambassador for your company.”
