This position will frequently interact with management and customers. Job duties will include maintenance, calibration, and/or repair of industrial and precision scales. You must have a strong work ethic, a neat appearance, a mechanical aptitude and the ability to work hard unsupervised. We do provide IN-HOUSE TRAINING and a successful candidate must be willing to learn and be organized, efficient, and detail-oriented while following a clear set of instructions.

B.C. Scale Co. Ltd came to be in 1996 as a small family owner company. Over the past 24 years it has consistently grown to be one of British Columbia's most trusted scale companies employing 15 people on a full time basis. Our ever expanding satisfied customer base is a testament to our success.
B.C. Scale Co. Ltd's service team consists of 10 technicians with well over 200 years of total experience. Our top technicians have been trained in every aspect of scale calibration and service. This includes scales ranging from laboratory micro balances to mega scales weighing trucks up to 2 million pounds.
B.C. Scale Co. Ltd has also specialized, but not limited itself, to the sales, installation and calibration on conveyor belt scales. Our full service facility in Langley B.C. is equipped to handle any repairs or calibration.
Our heavy duty service vehicles are equipped with 10,000 kg of government certified test weights, enough to handle any job. All of our technicians are approved by the Vancouver Port Authority to enter any site.
B.C. Scale Co. Ltd is poised to continue expanding with British Columbia and beyond limited only by the growth of the economy.

We provide prompt and accurate service and calibration for all weighing equipment and standardized test weights. B.C. Scale test weights standards are traceable and documented in accordance to the requirements ordained by the National Research Council of Canada in Ottawa Ontario, the National Institute of Standards and Technology in the U.S.A and the International Bureau of Weights and Measures in Sevres, France.
B.C. Scale Co. Ltd. currently offers customers quality assurance standards based on the B.C. Scale Quality Assurance Program.
B.C. Scale Co. Ltd. is fully accredited by Measurement Canada, adhering to the SA-01 Standard. This allows us to Government Certify all non-automatic weighing systems on behalf of Weights and Measures Canada.
