In its most basic sense, email marketing is the use of email to promote products or services. But a better email marketing definition is the use of email to develop relationships with potential customers or clients. Email marketing is one segment of internet marketing, which encompasses online marketing via websites, social media, blogs, and more. It is essentially direct mail done electronically instead of through the postal service.

This kind of marketing can be used to build relationships with customers or drive them away.

Much of the spam email we all get proclaiming "deals" is a good example of email marketing at its worst. Someone somewhere buys an email list (or several) and sends an email along the lines of “Get ___________ (the product name) for only $_____! (the amount)" to everyone on the list—sometimes repeatedly. All this does is annoy everyone and give email marketing a bad name.

At its best, though, email marketing allows businesses to keep their customers informed and tailor their marketing messages to their audience.

what is GMB ?
To begin with, GMB is a free tool and It helps a business tell the viewers about its story. It is the best way to get your business listed on Google Search Engine. It has helped many business owners create an online presence for themselves over the search engine. Adding your business over Google does not mean losing your website as it only provides additional information to the users and you could add your own website to the business listing. Google My Business lets a business add important company information like its details, location, number, website, working hours, customer reviews, company photos, operational hours, directions etc. The best part of GMB is that it is completely free. You can get your business listed on Google without paying anything

Social media marketing first started with publishing. Businesses were sharing their content on social media to generate traffic to their websites and, hopefully, sales. But social media has matured far beyond being just a place to broadcast content.

Nowadays, businesses use social media in a myriad of different ways. For example, a business that is concerned about what people are saying about its brand would monitor social media conversations and response to relevant mentions (social media listening and engagement). A business that wants to understand how it’s performing on social media would analyze its reach, engagement, and sales on social media with an analytics tool (social media analytics). A business that wants to reach a specific set of audience at scale would run highly-targeted social media ads (social media advertising).

As a whole, these are often also known as social media management.

Facebook Pixel: Why is it so important?

You go to a shopping mall. As soon as you enter, you see the security guard greeting you and clicking on a device within his palm as you go inside.
If you closely look at the device, you might see a stopwatch-like machine with numbers on it.

If you ever wondered what it is, its called “People-counter” device(The technology is far advanced now).

Why does he do it? Quite obviously, to have a track of the number of people who visit the mall on a daily basis.

But do you think there’s anything much they could do with just the numbers? I think not.

Whereas on your website, it’s easy for you to track people who have visited it. And you could do a lot more.

That process is aided with the help of analytics tools like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics etc

Let’s talk about Facebook Pixel since that’s the thing I’m most familiar with 🙂

What is a Pixel?

A familiar word in photography, it almost implies more or less the same meaning here.

A pixel is a piece of code that you place on your site. It loads as a small microscopic square(a pixel) on your website every time someone visits.

Technically it works by placing and triggering cookies on the website to track users as they interact on your website.

And this tracks the data of the number of visits you get on your site on a daily basis, the pages they visit, set of actions they do on your website etc.

Interesting, right?

The good news is, the pixel also knows who has visited your page 🙂

What can Facebook Pixel do for me?

With the data your pixel has collected, you can reach out to those people who are already aware of your product/service.

With Pixel, you can create custom audiences on different levels, lookalikes audience ( will make a post about it)
..with which you can easily retarget your existing audience and create a lookalike(similar) audience of people who are very similar to the ones who have interacted with your business.

And later on you can target those people who visited your website and know about your business now you can get infront of them on their fb feed with a good offer they will become your customers from there

What can I do with the Facebook Pixel?

Once you start building an audience with the pixel, you can create plenty of custom audiences. Let me give you some examples below

• People who visited my website in the past 180 days

• People who visited a particular page

• People who give their details on my site in the past 30 days

• People who visit your services section

“ people who booked appointment from your website

And many more…

Wait! I just taught you about installing a piece of code…

Once Facebook records the value of conversion or gets enough data, Facebook itself will optimize for the best possible results 🙂

And as I said above, you can retarget audiences on different levels using the Facebook pixel.

Remember, without the Facebook pixel, you are limiting the possibility of reaching out to the people who already know about your business or similar people who are most likely to interact with your business.

If you haven’t installed Facebook pixel on your website, landing pages and your spending money on google ads and or any kind of other marketing method then your leaving some big 💰amounts on the table
