Ce samedi, nous aurons les très attendus empanadas végétariens colombiens de Victoria (vers midi) les biryanis végétariens et au poulet de Madame Patel, la fameuse sauce Tsatziki de Najwa et les sandwichs merguez harissa de Anne ! Et ce soir, le spectacle à 18 HEURES et le dévoilement, 12 bières belges, gingembre et hibisucus au rendez-vous. Une belle journée en perspective !

The face behind the brand of your favourite empanadas 🇨🇴

Our family business initially started in 1989, 32 years ago! It’s crazy to say.

My grandparents, immigrants from Colombia came to Montreal in search for a better life for their family.

During my teenager years I worked at our restaurant, learning the ins and outs of the restaurant business. I have such an admiration for the business because I saw my grandparents and father work long and hard to be able to provide for me a life that I would have never had!

I became very passionate and excited because the clients loved our food, which gave us all such a great pleasure. Hearing the compliments never gets old!

I decided to continue our business under a different name: “Doña Fabiola” after we closed Cafeteria Las Palmas in December 2016. I named it after my amazing mamita (grandma). She is truly an amazing genuine soul with a heart of gold.

After we closed our restaurant, our page remained active and we kept getting requests for my grandmothers amazing empanadas!

It has been such an honor to be able to make our clients belly’s happy!

What a blessing this journey has been so far 🙏🏽 💛 💙 ♥️
