Let’s be real for a sec…

This is a wonderful job to have, but it’s hard.

It’s hard to do something I’ve never done before.
It’s hard to teach myself how to run a business while having no experience in both business and retail.
It’s hard working now to see results later.

The world is a mess. The economy is hurting. Life is simply hard right now for everyone. But there are also so many wonderful moments.

This week leading up to our one year store anniversary and four year business anniversary has made me think about this journey from the beginning. From selling $2 bracelets on Etsy to opening a store in downtown Lethbridge, this journey has been hard, but it has also been nothing short of wonderful.

Thank you to all of you for being the light in everyday. From our quick interactions to hour long talks about anything and everything, you are all the reason I continue to do what I do and enjoy it.

Some days are still hard, and sometimes I feel like giving up. But as soon as one of you walks through the door with a huge smile and talks to me like we’re best friends, I feel like I’m in the right place.

Things are hard, but they’re equally amazing.
