“I was born and raised in Lethbridge and am proud to call this city my home. I have a beautiful daughter, a rescue dog, and a cat. In my personal time, I enjoy singing with my daughter in our band, Time Bandits, as well as camping and walking my dog. I am thrilled to be part of the amazing team at Lethbridge Dental Service South, where I love helping our wonderful patients achieve beautiful smiles.”

Today we said goodbye to a truly amazing man. Dr. Scott Walburger was our guiding light and our compass. We will honour his memory and continue his legacy of kindness, compassion and living life to the fullest. We will always treasure the time we spent together.

Today is also National Dentists Day and we want to make sure we thank our wonderful Dentists… Dr. Bryan Murray and Dr. Jesse Johnson. You have been a blessing during this difficult time and we are so thankful for you both. We appreciate all of your hard work and how you strive to treat everyone you meet like family.

As many of you know, this has been an incredibly difficult time for our Dental Clinic. But we'd just like to take a moment and acknowledge our incredible Team, as they have been so strong and demonstrated what an incredible place this is. Dr. Walburger would be so proud of you all.

It's Dental Assistants Recognition Week and we are honoured to acknowledge the hard work and skill of our fantastic RDAs. You're the backbone of our clinic! Thank you for all you do and how cared for you make our patients feel. We appreciate you!

As we reminisce on the cherished moments spent together under the leadership of Dr. Scott Walburger, our hearts ache with the realization that our time with him was cut so short. Dr. Walburger’s unwavering commitment to the health of our community and his genuine kindness endeared him to countless patients and dental professionals throughout southern Alberta. His passing has left a profound void, yet it serves as a poignant reminder of the fragility of time and the importance of the connections we make in this life.

In his memory, we will to continue to provide the highest standard of care to our patients, striving each day to emulate his dedication and compassion. Though he may no longer be with us, his spirit lives on in the smiles he helped create and the lives he touched.

Words cannot express how much you meant to us and we will miss you profoundly Dr. Walburger.

Today, with heavy hearts, we share the news of the sudden passing of our beloved colleague and leader, Dr. Scott Walburger. It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of such an extraordinary individual who touched the lives of countless patients, peers, and friends.

Dr. Walburger was more than just a dentist; he was a beacon of healing, education, and unwavering dedication to the highest standard of care. For decades, he selflessly served our community, leaving an indelible mark on all those who had the privilege of crossing his path.

Dr. Walburger was a family man above all else. A dedicated father of 3, and devoted husband who touched countless lives with his example of selflessness and family values. Beyond his exceptional dental expertise, his legacy shines brightly in the love and dedication he showed towards his family. His commitment to his role as a loving husband and father served as an inspiration to us all.

As we reflect on his legacy, we are reminded of the profound impact he had on our clinic family. Dr. Walburger was not only a boss but a friend to his Team members he led at his three clinics, Lethbridge Dental Services South, Crossings Dental and Medicine Hat Dental. His kindness, wisdom, and genuine care touched everyone around him, fostering a sense of unity and belonging that will forever be cherished.

We extend our deepest gratitude to the Southern Alberta dental community for their outpouring of support during this difficult time. Your unwavering solidarity and assistance in ensuring our clinic continues to serve our patients speak volumes about the incredible spirit of unity that defines our profession.

In the days ahead, we will carry Dr. Walburger’s legacy in our hearts as we honor his memory with his Associate Dentists serving our Patients, the community, and the surrounding area. To our patients and peers, we humbly ask for your patience and understanding as we navigate this profound loss together. Let us honor Dr. Walburger’s memory by upholding the values of compassion, integrity, and dedication that he exemplified every day.
