Ultrasound Preview

This little guy had his 3D scan at about 29 weeks…then came into this world a bit early! Mom took the time to adjust his position in the newborn comparison photos to match the position in 3D. Congratulations! He’s adorable 🥰

Last week I had the opportunity to scan this little girl’s baby sister at 26 week gestation (Big sister was 4 month old in this picture) During the scan, Mom and Dad thought that the ultrasound picture she looked just like her sister did as a baby!
??? What do you think ???

So here is a very cute little one “blowing a kiss” with lips pursed in the same way as in the ultrasound version! Babies are SO MUCH FUN! Enjoy every moment!

What an adorable bundle of joy for this family! Mom just sent this side-by-side comparison and there’s no denying the similarities! Although it wasn’t a perfect 3D the experience is such a treat to experience in the later stage of the pregnancy. Congratulations!

So this comparison has a different twist.
I commented when we were scanning this little one at 30 weeks, that there was a resemblance to Mom!! So Mom dug up an early photo of her as a babe…
Will be interesting to see the newborn version in about 10 weeks!!

We tried a couple of times in the Mom’s third trimester and finally got to see her facial face features in 3D! What an adorable baby and look at all that newborn hair!

We see some hair on her head in the newborn photo, but Mom says we didn’t see any during her ultrasound. We usually see hair best with the 2D ultrasound when we look at the back of the head by the neck…however this little sweetie didn’t show us her hair that day during the scan. Mom says that the hair even has some curl like Dad does.

Even though there’s a shadow from the umbilical cord on the 3-D image, the resemblance with the new born picture is obvious! Just love the T shirt and I can’t agree more lol

We could mostly see this little ones nose and lips during the 3D scan because the arm was in front. At least with the newborn we can gently move the arm away….ahhh
