Emma Mary Sked is an artist living and working in London, Ontario,
Canada. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Brock University and received
the Marilyn I.
Walker Textile Award in 2019. Sked works mainly with acrylic paint, ink drawings, and textiles. Her
painting and drawing focuses on portraiture and patterns, exploring
themes of the human condition while working through her own
mental health by creating these repetitive patterns as a form of
meditation. She also mends clothing, writes knitting patterns, and has strong
beliefs surrounding environmentalism and consumerism.

It's available as you see here and as just a black outline for some items. The stickers and magnets are just the flower silhouette, without a blue box around it.
I drew this in my sketchbook, then attempted to quickly clean it up digitally. I was originally experimenting with the background to decide how to finish it in my sketchbook. I ultimately decided to keep it simple for this submission. I'll be filling it with patterns in my sketchbook though, I'll share that on Patreon when it's complete.

This challenge starts on Sunday and I'm participating!
I've done this for the past few years and while I'm nervous to do it, I'm also excited. I haven't really done much art for a long time but I've been doing creative things weekly and posting them on Patreon.
My plan is to do a new drawing/design everyday for 100 days. I hope they'll all be good enough to post on IG and RedBubble but we'll see.
I hope you'll stick around for the duration of the challenge. I'll likely do a lot of animal portraits with some human portraits and mushroom portraits sprinkled in here and there.
