📸 Holi Hai Event: A Riot of Colors in London, Ontario! 🎨🌈

🗓 Date: Saturday, April 27th, 2024 📍 Location: Victoria Park, London, Ontario, Canada

What an exhilarating day it was at the Holi Hai Festival of Colors, organized by the Srishti Foundation - Canada ! 🎉 From vibrant hues to contagious laughter, this event truly captured the spirit of unity and joy. Here’s a glimpse of the festivities:

As the sun beamed down on Victoria Park, thousands of people gathered to celebrate Holi. The air was filled with excitement as we prepared for the synchronized color throws. Over 1000 Kgs of colors transformed the park into a kaleidoscope of happiness! 🌼🌸

High-Energy Drummers (Dhol): The rhythmic beats of the dhol reverberated through the crowd, urging everyone to dance and sway. It felt like the whole park was grooving to the same joyful rhythm! 🥁💃

The stage came alive with captivating Bollywood performances. Dancers twirled, leaped, and spun, their colorful costumes mirroring the vibrant surroundings. 🕺💫
The festivities began with a heartfelt Ganesh Puja, invoking blessings for a day filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. 🙏🌟

The aroma of North and South Indian delicacies wafted through the air. From spicy chaats to sweet jalebis, our taste buds were treated to a delightful feast! 🍛🍡

Amidst the sea of colors, I spotted my dear friends Praveen Varkey and Jimmy Singh. We chatted, exchanged ideas 🤗📸

Remember, Holi symbolizes the onset of spring, the blooming of colors in nature, and unity in diversity. Beneath the layers of different hues, we are all connected, celebrating life together. 🌼🌟

Remembrance Day in London, Ontario.
The city’s annual Remembrance Day ceremony and parade was held at the Victoria Park Cenotaph on Saturday morning. The event drew a large crowd, including veterans and civilians alike, who gathered to pay tribute to the courage and sacrifice of those who served and continue to serve our country during times of war, military conflict, and peace.
As a resident of London, KenaniPix was fortunate enough to attend the ceremony and capture some photos of the solemn event. Here are some of my favourite shots from the day as well from last year's event:
