At Meridian Spine & Joint Physiotherapy, our clinicians understand that changing your posture throughout the day is vital.

Staying in any one position for too long can lead to pain, tightness and muscle weakness. Prolonged forward head posture can lead to further compensation in the upper and lower back, and strain the neck. The pain, muscle strain and weakness will cause more disability. Over time the stiffness can become difficult to change.

Through physiotherapy, our clinicians can help you to understand the importance of mobility, and regular changes in position. We will work with you to keep you active and aware of ways to help prevent sustained forward head postures.

Myalgia describes muscle aches and pain. Arthralgia describes joint pain and/or stiffness.
