Today's overcast and colder weather seemed like a good time to post a few pics of our Staff BBQ just 12 days ago. Our longtime and new WFP crew always enjoy getting together.

Only a few weeks left in another fantastic Ontario summer. Jim Monk is up on Georgian Bay looking great in a Western Fire retro t-shirt along with a beauty 8.55lb Walleye he caught at Rush Cove. Many of our staff are avid anglers and know that success at fishing requires learning through experience, patience, planning and anticipation - a great metaphor.

We welcome the Ontario Municipal Fire Prevention Officer's Association to London for their 64th annual symposium. Our own Ryan Renneboog wrote a great article for the event program.

We are continuing to grow, have you seen our work site signs around the 519 and 613 areas?

Sprinkler-heads used in fire protection have certainly evolved throughout time. We have amassed quite the collection of vintage heads over the years.

From Left to Right these heads were made in 1895, 1908 and 1915.

We had a Very Merry Christmas Lunch with the London and District Construction Association. It was great to see all of our industry friends.

Wiarton W***y says 3 more months until our next staff BBQ lunch on our patio.

Our Staff Christmas get-together was a great time and our first in our new shop.

We partnered with Finch Nissan to match our staffs, partners and companies contributions to our chosen local charity to end up with $4,000- being raised for Youth Opportunities Unlimited YOU in London!

Santa also brought custom Western Fire hoodies for all of our staff.

Thank you to everyone's generosity in supporting the great work that Youth Opportunities Unlimited YOU does in for youth in our local community!🎅
