Women in Business and Technology | Woman History Month
Introducing Ms. Teauna Cato-Martin of London, Ontario, Canada. Teauna is the Founder, Owner, and CEO Teetee’s Tacos, The Best Tacos In Town.
Teauna started Teetee's as a home-based business in May of 2021, and then a short time later moved to a brick and mortar location in downtown London the same year. The reputation of her business quickly spread, but unfortunately, she would have to eventually close down after multiple break-ins, and property damage.
During that time she'd made the decision to focus on school at King's University College at Western University in 2022, where she studied Social Justice and Peace Studies, and also went to the Dominican Republic to study S*x and Pe*****le Tourism, which would lead her to becoming a voice for the young and victims of S*x Trafficking.
Teauna is now back focusing on her dreams, passions, and her vision with Teetee's. She said, "I wanted to be my own boss and follow my dreams. As a young Afro-Canadian Woman, I want to be a positive example and role-model that other young so-called 'minorities' can follow, so they can believe that they too can follow their dreams and become successful.
