ASMARA // We are excited to announce our latest London partnership—Asmara Coffee House! We are carrying their signature medium-dark roasts in our line-up: the bright and floral Ethiopian Yirgacheffe, the smooth and balanced Ethiopian Decaf, and the full-bodied Rwandan. We are also serving it at the bar as our house dark, so you can taste it right away!

BREW TWO // Set a flat white and a cortado side by side, and enjoy the different ways in which espresso is expressed.

The flat white is made with a single or double shot of espresso topped with velvety microfoam in a 1:3 or 2:3 ratio. There is debate Down Under on whether this streamlined cousin of the latte was invented in Australia or New Zealand. What we do know is it is a growing favourite at Sidetrack here in the Up Over. It’s an excellent 'next drink' if you are a habitual latte drinker and interested in getting closer to the espresso.

The cortado is smaller, with equal amounts of espresso and steamed milk—no froth, no foam.The steamed milk attenuates the acidity of the coffee and doesn’t separate from the espresso, giving this drink its signature robust, full-bodied flavour with just a touch of creaminess. The cortado is ideal for those who like their coffee strong, with a smooth finish.
