Thank you to the City of London for inviting Microcad to participate in the London Newcomers Day on Saturday at RBC Place. Pam, Rajwant and Erica from Microcad understands the importance newcomers and international talent play in sustaining our economy and creating a prosperous London.

This weekend is the the big 24 hour gaming LAN party at The Factory. All proceeds go to the London Children's Hospital. I personally can't think of a better cause. The London Children's Hospital help kids from Windsor through Kitchener and they will help 66,000 kids every 12 months. You can help by; participating in the LAN party at The Factory, online gaming to raise funds or participate in the online auction. Many thanks to the; nurses, doctors, therapist, foundation staff, guild members, gamers and all the local company's that are pitching in. We are so proud of the teams for raising $16,447. In May Microcad was in contact with Mike Santolupo a Technology and Animation Teacher from John Paul II Catholic Secondary School. Mike and team were looking for a technology partner that could provide some high-end gaming laptops to be used for a student design slam event sponsored by Epicgames. With the global shortage on technology team Microcad had to jumped through numerous hoops including a late-night weekend run to the logistics depot to provided dozens of new MSI GF65 Thin Gaming Laptops for our London students. The event was awesome and showcased some amazing talented young minds. Thank you to everyone that help make this event a success and special thanks to the students. Teenagers rock technology 😊

John Paul II Catholic Secondary School students took part in a design slam sponsored by Epicgames (makers of Fortnite). Students worked on designs that were rendered in Twinmotion. Projects were judged by industry pros with prizes awarded to the top designs. Every student left with a t-shirt and tech knowledge to prepare them for the future!
