I still remember the day (I was probably only 12 years old) and saw a picture of myself at the beach.

I could barely sleep that night…

I was ashamed of what I looked like.

But what bothered me most was the fact that I knew deep inside 👇🏻

𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘥𝘰 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.

𝘐 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.

𝘐 𝘞𝘐𝘓𝘓 𝘣𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳.

And I still remind myself on a daily basis that the goal is to make that little guy proud.

𝘉𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘨𝘯𝘢𝘯𝘵.

𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘤𝘦𝘯𝘵.

𝘐 𝘳𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘭𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭.

And that’s why I set multi-year goals when everyone is perplexed why I plan ahead so much.

“𝘋𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘹?”

Ya, I do - but I also have big f***ing goals that I want to accomplish.

And this isn’t just about building a body.

This is about CREATING a life geared towards never backing down from the job at hand.

The second show of the season was an absolute blast, and although I didn’t place, this is goes much deeper than subjective awards.

That show was a celebration alongside the amazing support system of friends, family and clients who have had my back every step of the way.

Yesterday, Team Truth was represented at the Stephanie Worsfold Classic ( ) with four men’s physique competitors.

👉 Parris took the stage while also coaching team members Brody, Munene, and Steve.

👏 ALL FOUR ACHIEVED NOTABLE “PHYSIQUE PR’S” and came in with their best development and conditioning to date. 👏

👉 (𝙎𝙒𝙄𝙋𝙀 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙜𝙚 𝙥𝙞𝙘𝙨!)

🥇🥈 Huge CONGRATS to Munene for finishing first in his class, and placing a VERY close second in the overall!!

MOST IMPORTANTLY, this day represented a momentous milestone for Truth Body Systems, as it was a huge reflection of our values and the perspective we aim to bring to the natural bodybuilding space.
