The Family Stage is located on the concrete pad in front of the bandshell (where the ice rink is placed during the winter season). BGC London - A safe Spaces for Children, Youth, and Older Adults to Reach Their Full Potentials. We are a proud network serving children, youth, and older adults in our community for over 65 years. With our pools, gym, cafe, and remarkable staff and volunteers, we are able to create and deliver programs focusing on 📚 education, 🕹 recreation, 🏅 sports (competitive, recreational, and skill-building), 🌱 mental, social, and physical development 💼 career growth and opportunities and much more. We are proud to provide safe spaces where everyone feels welcomed, included, valued, so they can reach their full potentials.

On June 12th, we celebrated the dedication and hard work of High School Graduates who were also a part of our education program, M.A.P. or My Action Plan. Graduates were active participants of Sr. M.A.P. program during their high school years learning skills including leadership, communication, time & money management, budgeting, university preparation, and many more crucial skills to help them succeed. Most of the graduates are now stepping into higher studies in Fanshawe College, Western University, King's University, and other institutions learning about their areas of interest and passion including Culinary Arts, Media Production, Aviation, Electrical Engineering, and many more demanding areas.

Happening this summer with Next Level Sports 🏀. Limited spots available for our Summer Leagues (Basketball and Volleyball): 8 weeks programs for fundamentals, understanding the flow, and game play. Happening in London, Komoka, Lucan, and Thorndale. & Skills Academy: A 4-day program combining sport and a life skills! A fun, daytime opportunity for youth ages 9 to 13 to get out of the house, and work on some important life skills. Happening in Ilderton and Thorndale. Last weekend our team participated at Forest City Road Races. We had 22 runners participating in all segments. We also had 11 volunteers at the Ross Park water station. We ran to celebrate #ClubDay raising funds to create and deliver programs to provide more opportunities for children, youth, and older adults to succeed. It was a fulfilling, rewarding, and fun day. #wedidit

BGC London is joining forces with other aviation partners in #londonont to plan an extraordinary and engaging even: London Aviation Day. This Friday, May 31st, the Jet Aircraft Museum will be open for all to explore and learn in depth about aviation. There will be experts to answer all the questions and satisfy the curiosities of the growing minds. There will also be a chance to get a cockpit experience in a T33 ($2 per person) and two levels of flight simulator (education simulator and advanced simulator). Last week we celebrated Canadian Mental Health Week. Focus during the activities last week was kindness and self-care. We also had some special activities for futures of our community including a colouring station where kids turned white pages into colourful masterpieces to hang around the walls of our Club. Last week, with the help of team Old Navy, youth of #londonont went through an #onthejobtraining it gave them an opportunity to get hands on experience and train on cash, shelving, stocking, steaming, dressing up mannequins, pulling products from the back to restock, and more! It was rewarding to see our youth transition from being shy to being proactive on the floor. It was a part of an initiative by Old Navy called #ThisWayONward to prepare youth for a career in retail as well as other areas. Youth have learned identifying their strengths, weaknesses, and ways to tackle interviews. Old Navy has already offered positions to two candidates and more to follow.

Last night we celebrated our 2nd Annual Music & Meals. We are thankful to our 150 guests and 17 sponsors to help us raise over $14,000 to support our Nutrition Program (Supper Club) and Digital Creative Arts Centre (DCAC). We are captivated by the skills in music shown by Jazz Ensemble and the Salsa Band, students from Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University as a part of their experiential learning. Seeing their mesmerizing performance, we are sure these talented students are destined for success in no time. We are truly grateful to our supporters. With your help we are able to create and continue programs to help and nurture the future of our community. We are looking forward to creating even greater impacts next year.
