On Friday August 2nd, 2024, we welcomed Minister Jenna Sudds and MP Peter Fragiskatos to BGC London and took them on a tour of the Club.
They had the opportunity to speak with some of our older adult members at the Horton Street 50+ Centre, kids in camp, along with our staff, including those hired through the Canada Summer Jobs.
Thank you for listening and visiting! It was great to hear them talk about opportunities that change everything!

On June 12th, we celebrated the dedication and hard work of High School Graduates who were also a part of our education program, M.A.P. or My Action Plan.
Graduates were active participants of Sr. M.A.P. program during their high school years learning skills including leadership, communication, time & money management, budgeting, university preparation, and many more crucial skills to help them succeed.
Most of the graduates are now stepping into higher studies in Fanshawe College, Western University, King's University, and other institutions learning about their areas of interest and passion including Culinary Arts, Media Production, Aviation, Electrical Engineering, and many more demanding areas.

We have a free 2-day session that includes interactive activities and games, hands-on experience on fundamental medical techniques, and guidance on educational pathway from high school to becoming a physician.

During the school year and summer camps, our Supper Club (nutrition program) serves over 16,000 hot meals with an additional 18,000 snacks to children and youth.

🎉 4. And celebrate ! A day to create awareness of all the great things
that happen in Clubs across Canada.
Join us this weekend at Victoria Park for this celebration. The BGC Flag will fly at the community flag pole, a team of 22 runners are participating in the race, 10 volunteers will be cheering at water station #4 and we have planned some fun activities at the Kids Zone!

BGC London is joining forces with other aviation partners in to plan an extraordinary and engaging even: London Aviation Day.
There is also a chance to win a basket full of goodies including a Blue Zone ticket (up to 6 people) for Airshow London.

This May 31st, Friday, The Secrets of Radar Museum will also be open with their guided tours and self guided tours around their museums to learn about the Secrets of Radar.

This Friday, May 31st, the Jet Aircraft Museum will be open for all to explore and learn in depth about aviation. There will be experts to answer all the questions and satisfy the curiosities of the growing minds.
There will also be a chance to get a cockpit experience in a T33 ($2 per person) and two levels of flight simulator (education simulator and advanced simulator).

👨✈️👩✈️ This May 31st, BGC London and Aviation Partners are joining forces to plan an extraordinary and engaging event: London Aviation Day!
🎟 It's a fantastic (and FREE) opportunity for children to immerse themselves in the thrilling world of aviation, combining play, exploration, and learning in one day. We have packed the day with exciting activities from 10:00am to 2:00pm at multiple locations including
🛫 Airport tours at London International Airport (YXU)
🛩 Tours and flight simulation at Jet Aircraft Museum
🎮 Activities based around flights and aviation at Thames Valley District School Board Aviation School (Pre-registration required).
