Retirement bento box and cupcakes for a well deserved daycare teacher who dedicated 25 years of her life to guiding tiny humans in becoming responsible and independent people. The butterflies are representative of the name of her daycare group “Les Papillons”🦋 I’m extremely glad to have helped make her retirement celebration a little more special🥰 and if you read closely enough, the bento cake has “Bye Bye tension, Bonjour Pension” written on top😂

The client had ordered a vanilla chai flavored 8 inch heart cake, baby blue and white with bows. Not sure what went through my head that day but I had accidentally made a 6 inch round cake🤦🏻‍♀️ Maybe because I was too busy filming the whole process for Tiktok😂 So at first, I only realized that I had made a mistake with the shape, and thought “no big deal, I can cut the circle into a heart” (there is a method for this for bakers that don’t have heart shaped tins). Once that was done and the cake was finished and nicely decorated, I went to check the messages with the client and realized that I had messed up the size too! When stuff like this this happens, I take full responsibility for my mistake, and am always sure to offer an accomodation. In this case I offered two options: either a discount for the cake, or half price for an additional set of 6 cupcakes to make up for the lost portions. Luckily my customer was satisfied with this accomodation and took the 6 dulce de leche cupcakes. I must say, although I made a pretty big mistake, I’m so glad I got to make this adorable set!! All this to say that sh*t happens, and that’s okay! Even bakers make mistakes. What counts is how you make up for those mistakes, get back up on your feet and learn from them!💪🏼 And in the end, you’ll shine✨

Sometimes more is more😂 Made this special cotton candy flavored cake for my best friend’s 25th birthday, and I must say, I did not disappoint, the cake was a huge hit✨

So many details went into making it. We of course have the cotton candy flavored cake, but we also have cupcakes, mini cupcakes, mini donuts, cake-filled ice cream cones, cakesickles, mini chocolate bars, and chocolate candies, all made from scratch!

This candyland cake is really above and beyond, but opting for a more minimal look would be amazing as well!

Holy sh** I’m 25!!!🤯 To say that I’ve lived a quarter century is wild to me! There are so many words I can use to describe the first 25 years of my life, but to keep it simple, I’ll use 1: beautiful! There have been many ups and downs and life changing moments but that’s what makes life beautiful. And none if it would have been possible without my family, friends and supportive customers that have given me so much love and support throughout my journey❤️ I’m nervous but excited to see where the next quarter century will take me!
