Someone dumped a kitten in a compost bin at our location between sunday night and- tuesday night and left it there to expire thank god we found it this is very unsettling that someone would do this if anyone witnessed anything in the area. please let us know it has been reported to the authorities. Remember Trooper aka dumpster kitty?

You might remember the little dumpster kitten who came in the other night. Someone had disposed of him in a compost bin. We don’t know how long he was there, but he was covered in maggots, extremely malnourished, and his lungs were filling up. This poor kitty was in dire condition.

Thanks to Dr. Mosher and her team, he is now doing better and has everything he needs. He is in great care with one of our wonderful foster mamas, but he still needs treatment for pneumonia and a collapsed lung lobe to make a full recovery.

After covering several surgeries recently, our funds are depleted. We took this guy on knowing we would get help from all of you. If you can, please consider making a donation to support his ongoing care. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to giving him the chance at a happy, healthy life he deserves.
