Control The Bleed Canada trains people to stop catastrophic bleeding, saving trauma victims lives. The training is available online and in-person, where we use bleeding training arms.
Our small, Canadian owned family business, simply does not have the financial and human resources to deliver this training to every Canadian community.
Our answer is to spin Control The Bleed Canada off to become a not-for-profit foundation. We will apply to CRA for status as a registered charity, which will take many months.
This training is 'Recognized Educational Content' of The Committee for Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (c-tecc.org)
To make this vision a reality we need your financial support and have created a go-fund-me page. Our initial goal is $ 50,000.00.
Any donation, large or small, will be of tremendous assistance.
If you know anyone who has been involved in a traumatic injury, you know the importance of rapid emergency care.

🌞⚠️ Attention, everyone! It's important to stay safe during the upcoming solar eclipse! ⚠️🌞

As mesmerizing as the sight of a solar eclipse can be, it's crucial to remember the potential dangers associated with looking directly at it. Here's why:

Eye Damage: The intense rays of the sun can cause severe and permanent damage to your eyes if you look directly at it without proper protection. Even during an eclipse when the sun is partially obscured, its rays remain harmful.

No Pain, No Warning: Unlike staring at a bright light, looking at the sun during an eclipse may not cause immediate pain, so you might not realize the harm you're causing to your eyes until it's too late.

Protective Eyewear: Specialized solar viewing glasses or handheld solar viewers are necessary for safely observing the eclipse. Regular sunglasses are not sufficient to protect your eyes from the sun's harmful rays.

Alternative Viewing Methods: If you don't have access to proper eyewear, there are safe ways to indirectly observe the eclipse, such as creating a pinhole projector or using a telescope with a solar filter.

Let's prioritize our eye safety and enjoy the solar eclipse responsibly! Share this message with your friends and family to ensure everyone stays informed and safe during this awe-inspiring event. 🌘🔭
