I had to take a break from baking for the past month but dove back in yesterday to make this Banana Strudel cake for my Bestie in celebration of her BDay tomorrow.

Just playing with my least fav thing to make, sugar cookies🙈. When I feel stress, baking is my outlet and tackling things that are challenging for me, seems to help me deal with that stress. I think it’s so important to have a hobby or something that makes you lose yourself in the process. And for those that follow hockey, I may be baking through that Leafs Game tonight🙈, Go Leafs Go!!.

New Flowers!! Visiting my son in Ireland at the moment and the daffodils are everywhere. I have seen so many different species of roses and tulips, the colours are amazing!! Looking forward to replicating them in Buttercream when I get home.

This went to my niece as I have been working on some recipes for her. I used my tried and true Choc/Zucchini recipe and substituted with gluten free flour. I added a salted caramel to the centre and they were divine and moist which what I was trying to achieve. Also tried out some new flowers from classes. I love trying out new recipes and combining them so when I saw Hot Honey Chicken it looked like the right chicken to combine with waffles. So I used the Crispy Hot Honey Chicken and Buttermilk Waffles. What a combo!!👏🏻👏🏻
