I first heard of BodyTalk back in 2014. Well, actually, I heard of it shortly before that from a lovely friend, but apparently wasn’t quite ready to really hear it yet😉 But then I heard of it again, and was instantly interested! I didn’t know why, but I was very intrigued to know more about it🤔🤓

I became further involved with BodyTalk soon after I started receiving sessions for myself. I had started receiving sessions in May, and was already in my first course by September. Then I continued on from there and dove even deeper into it than I had expected!📚📖🧐

Initially, I noticed that 𝐁𝐨𝐝𝐲𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐤 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐱𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐟𝐮𝐥 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞🤗✨ Having my nervous system ramped up all the time only caused higher stress levels and even more pain and illness in my body. But it turned out that addressing and helping my anxiety was also minor stuff for BodyTalk to help me with! Although, it was still very useful for more severe pain and suffering I was about to endure in my life, and it was also there for me before some very painful events had taken place, thank goodness for that!🙃🙏🏼 Like most everyone else, I’ve been dealing with my own struggles, grief, and heartbreak. I really don’t know what I would do without BodyTalk in my life, because I’ve seen how much it has already shifted my life in such a positive way😏💕✨

I’m very thankful it has become a much bigger part of my life than I had even expected it to! And I’m so very honoured to work with all the lovely people that show up as well to be able to help them seek the way and the healing for themselves too!

In my previous career, as a hairstylist, my clients were everything to me. I was so happy to listen to them, be there for them, and help them feel pretty too. But I was also always left frustrated, because I really wanted to help them fix their stuff more than I did, but what I was doing only felt like temporary solutions. Don’t get me wrong here, hairstylists are such amazing gurus, and their job requires much more than you may actually realize. I just felt like there was a missing piece that I couldn’t touch on and help with, and it bothered me🤨😔 Then when I started working with BodyTalk it all clicked!😲💫💡🌟✨ BodyTalk was the missing piece I was looking for, and I had no idea it was even possible, but turns out it is, and I found it, like I was meant to!😋👏🏼 Now I can finally be there for people in such an amazing way that I never thought possible❣️ And even better, I’m not even responsible for the healing, nor do I take credit!😌 The credit goes to the individuals that show up to heal themselves☺️👉🏼🏆

The body knows how to heal itself. Communication is the key for the body to repair and heal itself

Our body contains 50 trillion cells which are in constant communication with each other. Innate wisdom is compromised when communication breaks down. In order to support the body to heal we need to support the communication. We do that through communication with the body.

Every single atom, cell, organ and system is in constant communication with every other atom, cell, organ and system all the time. Everything functions with everything else. Contributing towards making the whole.

SUCCESS STORY: While this client was advised that nothing could be done for her condition but wait, as it progressively worsens and causes her to become increasingly debilitated, we respectfully disagreed. Not only did the client's symptoms significantly improve within a matter of weeks, but, after not being able to operate a vehicle for over 20 years, the client began driving herself to appointments!

YES. Your thoughts impact your body's chemistry. Science. Let's break it down 👇🏽

You don’t need to be in any physical or immediate danger for your body to go into a full on stress response. The thought of a stressful situation alone is enough to cause your body to respond as if it’s actually happening!

There are 2 scenarios:

😁

➡️ Positive thought
➡️ Change in brain chemistry
➡️ Healing hormones flood the body (endorphins, dopamine, serotonin, etc.)
➡️ Improves digestion, boosts immunity, increases mood, reduces inflammation

😣

➡️ Stressful thought
➡️ Change in brain chemistry
➡️ Stress hormones flood the body
➡️ Functions of the body become impaired (interruption of digestion, suppression of immune system, increase in inflammation)

This is why quiet time for the mind is important. You can calm and focus the mind using:

✅ Meditation
✅ Yoga
✅ Breathing excersise
✅ Qi Gong / Tai Chi
✅ Art
✅ Visualizations
✅ Affirmations

Mindset and thoughts play a huge role in recovery and healing, and is something I always recommend to my clients to help my treatment plans run smoothly.

A dysregulated nervous system is often at the root of chronic, unresponsive illnesses.

Our nervous systems are heavily programmed in childhood and can shape the way we experience things later in life.

As a child, your nervous system could have been affected by...

a variety of things including:

⚠️ epigenetic or inherited trauma

Any situation that exceeds someone's ability to cope would be considered traumatic
