Feeling grateful this Thanksgiving weekend for how far I've come and being able to start a business that is close to my heart:🌿 Illustria Medical Aesthetics🌿

I've always loved general practice and I find great satisfaction in helping my patients stabilize their blood sugars, improve their mental health, get their energy back, and everything in between that a GP does.

But even on the busy walk-in clinic days, I still found myself getting way too excited about the patients with skin concerns😆. Teaching my patients about their skin and how to take care of it, using my skills to help them feel confident when they look in the mirror- that just hits different for me💪🏾. That's when I realized I had to make it an every day thing!

So I started educating myself on how to really take care of skin outside of the conventional medical ways I've already been taught, and how to combine my family medicine knowledge with my aesthetic medicine knowledge to best be able to guide my patients to better skin. These last few years it's been a long journey of training courses, certifications, classes, webinars, workshops, textbooks, conferences, and learning from some masters in the field, and I'll still continue to keep my knowledge up to date for you all! 🤓
