Here is a little project I made for my niece. I normally do not make crochet clothing for kids unless I can make it adjustable because they grow out of them almost as fast as I can make them! 😉 Ideally I feel a kids pattern should grow with your child through multiple stages.

In this case there is a tie in the back to tighten around the bodice and the straps are adjustable. Cross cross them for toddler sizes and then change to straight over for older sizes. Button cuff links can be made to bunch the dress up to make it shorter while giving a pretty folded detail like a wedding dress has when you bunch up the train.

I used https://hobbii.com/friends-cotton-8-8 in the colors 76, 103, 03, 14, and 24. The pattern was inspired by Tiffany Brown of Daisy farm crafts, “Baby Boho Sundress”.
