One of the wonderful volunteers of the Mission Hospice Society, Sandy, has been volunteering at the Christine Morrison Hospice for many years and is very disappointed that she is unable to provide her weekly in person pet therapy visits due to the pandemic so she has taken on a weekly project of taking pictures of her awesome dogs and sharing with our team of compassionate caregivers.
We are very pleased to be able to share these photos and messages from Sandy and hope they bring joy to those who see them.
"A Good Book... Here's what we came up with during our photoshoot yesterday. If you look closely, you can make out each dog's interest! And just to note that Kalvyn is a very well-read dog. He has finished at least 32 library paperback novels... and by finished, I mean eaten !!! (Back when he was a very naughty puppy !) Taking Abigail to the pet store today for an 'outing', maybe I'll get some neat photos there. All the best, and thanks so much for taking care of our Hospice family, yourself included ! Hugs, Sandy."
