LASH AFTERCARE, let’s talk about it!

Taking care of your lashes is so important for you eye health. The purpose of your natural lashes is to keep dirt and debris out of your eyes. Your lash extensions will collect dirt, dust & makeup. Keeping your lashes clean and having good retention go hand in hand.

How to keep your lashes clean & maintain retention

• wash your lashes daily with lash shampoo - I recommend washing them 2x daily

• avoid sleeping on your face, you want to avoid any friction applied to your lashes so there’s no pulling and tugging on your natural lashes. This includes picking and pulling on your lashes

• don’t use mascara you will ruin the lash extensions and will have to get them removed @ your next appointment

• avoid products with oil around your eyes. Oil breaks down the lash adhesive

• do not curl your lashes, you will risk pulling out your natural lash

• schedule timely refills, every 2-3 weeks are ideal for refills

Increase your retention by making sure you’re washing your lashes daily. You can purchase the Brit’s Lash shampoo at your next appointment, along with the spoilie case and shampoo brush. The shampoo brush is perfect for getting in between your lashes and keeping them squeaky clean.

• The key to great retention and keeping your natural lashes healthy is making sure your lashes are clean. Your lashes will not last if they are dirty. You want to make sure you are not only cleaning your lashes but also cleaning the tools you use. Make sure you either get rid of old spoilies or ensure they are always clean. You can use lash shampoo to clean to keep them clean 🧼
