Boccia Blast Secures Long-Term Home in Mississauga Ontario 🇨🇦

The Boccia Blast Host Organizing Committee is delighted to announce a landmark agreement with Visit Mississauga and the City of Mississauga, cementing the tournament's long-term presence in the city. This partnership guarantees a stable and consistent venue for athletes, fans, and participants, fostering a premier boccia experience.

Key dates:

- Boccia Blast 2025: June 12-15, 2025
- Boccia Blast 2026: June 11-14, 2026

This agreement marks a significant milestone in Boccia Blast's history, solidifying Mississauga's position as a central hub for the sport. The city's unwavering support and enthusiasm have been instrumental in securing this long-term commitment.

📢 **Important Announcement for Ontario players: Reduced Entry Fee!**

We are thrilled to announce that effective immediately, the entry fee for Ontario athletes has been reduced to $190!

Ontario athletes who have already paid their entry fee, will receive a refund of $100 by June 30th, 2024.

This is do to a sponsor! We hope this reduction in entry fees will make it more accessible for Ontario athletes to participate in this exciting event. Thank you for your continued support and participation in Boccia Blast!

📢 Announcement: Attention all Boccia enthusiasts!

Due to the shift in scheduling for Boccia Blast to June this year, we understand that there may be some confusion surrounding registration deadlines, especially with the Ontario Regional Series. To alleviate any confusion and ensure everyone has ample time to register, we are extending the registration deadline for Boccia Blast to May 27th. This extension will allow participants more time to prepare and plan for this exciting event. Thank you for your understanding, and we look forward to seeing you at Boccia Blast!

We have moved our event to the summer months and to the Greater Toronto Area, as advised, to increase entry numbers and accessibility.

It is with mixed emotions that I announce the resignation of Tammy McLeod from her position on the London Cannonballs board of directors and the Boccia Blast Host Committee. Tammy has been an integral part of our team, and her departure leaves a significant void.

We want to take this opportunity to express our deepest gratitude to Tammy for her unwavering dedication, tireless efforts, and invaluable contributions during her time with us. Her leadership, passion, and commitment have played a pivotal role in our achievements, and we are immensely grateful for her hard work and commitment to our cause.

As Tammy embarks on new adventures and challenges, we extend our sincerest wishes for success and fulfillment in all her future endeavors. While we will miss her presence and expertise, we know that she will continue to excel and make a positive impact wherever she goes.

Thank you, Tammy, for everything you have done for the London Cannonballs board of directors, the Boccia Blast Host Committee, and our community as a whole. You will be truly missed, and your legacy will endure.
