The Holiday season is seen as an exciting and joyous time. But this isn’t true for everyone.
For some, the holidays can be very difficult. Some are dealing with the stress of getting all their shopping finished, while others might be overwhelmed with the thought of multiple dinners and family gatherings. If you are struggling with stress or anxiety this holiday season, here are a few things to keep in mind to help get you through the coming days.
Remember that the holidays are supposed to be a time to celebrate with family and friends. When you find yourself overwhelmed or stressed try to take a minute to refocus on what’s really important about the season.
Our clinic will be closed at 12pm today so we can celebrate the holidays with our team. We will reopen with regular business hours and answer any messages on Monday December 11, 2023.

Our Process
At Sageview Health, our team of Client Care Coordinators is here to help make the process of finding a clinician and starting therapy easy. Take the first step by contacting our team by phone or email for more information on our services or to book an appointment.
During your first session your clinician will gather the information required to develop a customized treatment plan. You’ll then meet regularly with your clinician to work towards your goals and overcoming your mental health challenges.
As we prepare to mark Remembrance Day, Sageview Health pauses to recognize the many sacrifices made by those who have and those who continue to serve our country. Dr. Jason Bacchiochi - Psychologist and Clinical Director. A seasoned therapist and assessor focusing on mood and anxiety disorders with a special interest in mental health in the workplace. His therapeutic compass is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and he is here to guide you towards the rich and full life you deserve.
Dr. Alan Chan - Psychologist and Director: A registered psychologist with over 10 years of experience working with adults and seniors. Dr. Chan is your go-to for psychological assessments and treatment with for persons dealing mood, anxiety, trauma, and health-related difficulties. He provides holistic support for your mental and physical well-being.
Dr. Cheryl Fernandes - Psychologist and Director Child & Adolescent. She specializes in child and adolescent mental health. She trained at York University and McMaster Children’s Hospital and has extensive experience working with kids, teens, and their parents using emotion focussed, acceptance and commitment and cognitive behavioural strategies. Dr. Fernandes also supervises and mentors clinicians in training.
